@anuicupcake: I think that’s one of the cutest ideas I have ever heard. It’s too bad it wasn’t very realistic.

I may steal your hot sauce idea now if that is cool? I like the cake ball idea, it is neat and tasty. so very tasty.

I think this is an adorable idea and I’m tempted to steal it also! Too bad your fiance axed it. (Actually, I just asked my boyfriend and he did too 🙁 He said it’s a little weird because practically everyone we know already has those in their pantry) I agree though that while cake balls are cute, they aren’t really unique. Actually, I think it’s part of the trend this season since I’ve seen them everywhere.

I’ve seen a lot of pictures with people giving little bottles of honey, maple syrup, or jam as their favors (google it if you want to see some cool bottling ideas) and I always wondered what I could give that had some meaning to myself and those two sauces would be awesome.

This might be a little late, but couldn’t you make labels that look like a little tux and dress for your sauce bottles?  As for people not understanding the meaning–you could include a little flap that tells the story of your personalities and what the sauces mean?

If your fiance can’t picture it–maybe you can dress it up in Photoshop (if you or someone you know has the skill) just to help him envision it.

I’m just encouraging the out of the box thinking because I plan on doing the same for my wedding!

I also still really like this idea… I think I’m gonna try to talk my boyfriend into it later on 😀

I think this idea is uber-cute but pretty time-consuming to put together. Too bad they don’t sell mini sriracha/hoisin bottles. Other than that, the cake balls sound great too. One less thing on your plate to worry about girl! 🙂

I asked the Fiance about this too, he said to go with the cake pops instead.  That even though the sauces are in nice packaging its like giving out ketchup and mayo as a treat, a lot of people already have it in there homes…
