Because we’re having a destination wedding, I was considering adding a line on our RSVP cards to ask our guests to enter their preferred email address. We’re just thinking that we might have some information about activities or whatever after the invitations have gone out that would be helpful to our guests. We’ll also post it on the wedding website, but who knows whether our guests will actually check that on a regular basis.
Is this tacky?

I don’t think its tacky, seems like a nice way to keep guests informed.

I don’t think it’s tacky at all!

Not tacky at all! But don’t expect everyone to add it, because if they can’t figure out to write their names down (going through that now haha), then they definitely can’t all be expected to add their email.

It’s a great idea! I did an online rsvp and on it I asked for everyone’s email addresses. Seriously, it worked beautifully and I totally recommend it. It makes planning and contacting everyone that much easier!
