These cuts really should have a whiter stone to look good.  Since moissy’s color is not quite like a diamond’s there is probably a lot less demand.  There is another Bee with a large 5-ish carat equivalent which I think is an emerald cut and is a good example of the sort of color you see in moissy vs. diamond if you are looking for an example of what the differences may be.

emilylallouz:  the Emerald cut listed on moissaniteco dot com. I just checked. No ass her cuts anywhere tho. Also, moissaniteco can custom make the ring you want with the emerald and baguettes!!

emilylallouz:  They don’t make asscher cut moissanite, but I think they are planning on making the Amora Gem in an asscher cut.

Right now there is emerald cut moissanite. Check out the ladies over on thefacetlounge.com forums, they will have some pics πŸ™‚

I heard they are indefinitely postponing the step cuts of the amora gem line. Bummer, because I want an asscher as well, but I was happy to find out about the moissanite now being offered in an EC, from moissaniteco. I’m going with one of their designs, and I’m excited for when my guy and I can order my ring! πŸ™‚

ps: the facet lounge, check out, they have videos of ring with an EC moissanite. It looks very buttery, but gorgeous. I am getting my ring made in rose gold, and debating rubies vs the small diamonds on the side, but I’m sure whatever I choose will look good πŸ™‚

Consultette:  That’s a radiant cut you’re referring to.

Arshim:  thank you!  I couldn’t remember the ring, just that it was a boxy shape.

Arshim: Hehe I think I might be that bee! Mine is a radiant cut, but I’ve seen geminirose’s emerald cut + baguette moissanite ring on the other thread …I die!
