Another for Crest Whitestrips!  I’ve been using them since high school and have always gotten excellent results, although you do need to redo them every 6-12 months.

Crest 3D white strips for me too. They make a big difference to my teeth.

I’ve tried both the white strips and those cheap whitening gel pens you can get and they both work (I think it’s the same type of product) but the results arent dramatic. I got the pen product at a dollar store, so for the price alone I would definitely recommend giving it a try, you just apply it to your teeth daily and leave it on for I think around 15 min and then wipe off and rinse.

At home whitening is usually better than buying whitening strips from the pharmacy. As the whitening agent is a higher percentage. Have custom trays made at your dentists’ office and you can buy replacement gels and use the trays over again – You’ll get better results doing your whitening after having your teeth professionally cleaned.

goldenbrown :  I don’t experience sensitivity. Activated charcoal comes in pill form, you’ll find it in the AntiGas section at your grocery/target. Walmart has it cheapest! It is a pink white and blue box. The pills are pink. you have to untwist the pill to pour out the charcoal. dip your toothbrush in water and then place it on the charcoal to get some on the brush, then scrub scrub scrub! like i said, be careful toward your gumline because it will cause tiny pieces of charcoal to get stuck but it rinses away with water or by brushing with your clean toothbrush 🙂

goldenbrown :  I used Crest 2 hr and loved them. I know that brushing your teeth with baking soda will also help get rid of surface stains. My recommendation if you try them right before the wedding stick to drinking coffee/tea/red wine through a straw to prevent further staining (and no smoking).

If you want a more natural option, you can try baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. Add a little of both to your toothpaste on top of your toothbrush each time you brush. Do that for 7 days and check your results.
