I met my fiance when I was around 13 and he was 12. I met him at my taekwondo studio, I was a few belts higher than him – I actually always helped out in his younger brothers’ classes. For whatever reason I was filling in for someone else in a class for older kids and he happened to be in it. I honestly didn’t take much notice of him at first, he was just another student, then he was just another coworker. It wasn’t until the summer I turned 16, we were working a lot together doing summer camps and he had just gotten a haircut and shaved his patchy beard (so he no longer looked like Shaggy from Scooby Doo) that I was like damn boy you’re cute! We dated for a while, then broke up and didn’t talk much for a couple years. We reconnected the summer before my senior year of college, and we’ve been together ever since.

Met at 5, dating at 16. Best friends in between and married at 18. I’m now 30 and he’s 32. We are still best friends and love spending the rest of my life with him.

We were both 24! We met at work under prettt dramatic circumstances… long story short I was working in retail while I was completing my post-grad, and there was a shooting at the mall. He was the health and safety coordinator (I had never seen or met him before this night) and was present after the incident. I was going to take a cab home that night but he insisted on driving me. We started dating 4 or 5 months later!

I am awful with dates, and last time there was a thread regarding how long between dating and marriage I said less than a year, but in fact we were together about 19 months before we were married. I was 25 and Dh was 22 when we met. He was (what I consider) VERY young, but he has always been far more more mature and ready to settle down than I was – a born “family man” – and was ready to commit far sooner than I was.

I had just turned 26 and D.H. was 27 when we met.

I had just turned 25, he was 35. We started dating over a year after we met, and got engaged at 29 and 39.

We were both 18 when we met.
We met when a girl on my dorm floor said she met a cute guy on the floor below and I said we should invite him to hang out. When I knocked on his door my husband came out of the next room over thinking someone had knocked on his door. I thought he was hot so invited him along too! We have been pretty much inseparable from that moment forward and have been together for over 10 years now.

We met when we were 5. Went to school together. Were friends but lost touch except for Facebook after high school. Reconnected less than a year ago. I’m not letting him get away a second time.

45, almost 46. I waited a very long time for him, but I had never dated anyone else like him.

We were 15 when we met. I was a sophomore in high school when he was a freshman. We both played the alto saxophone. I honestly don’t even remember knowing him until the following year when I submitted his picture for the yearbook and thought he had a great smile.
We started talking and later dating at 17, during my senior year of high school. Over 5 years later, we’re still going strong!

We met in high school. I forget which class but he remembers what I was wearing and the teachers name. Impressive. Haha
