Hey Atlanta girls!
Wondering what your ideas are for cute places for a bridal luncheon or tea the day before the wedding.
I’m in the Buckhead/Midtown area, but I could make it as far away as Marietta, Roswell or Sandy Springs. Alpharetta would probably be pushing it.
Thanks for your input!

Fun!!! I love planning this type of stuff. Here are some thoughts:
Chocolate Pink Cafe, in midtown
Chocolate Bar, in Decatur
Park Cafe, in Duluth
Seasons 52 (Buckhead and Perimeter)
Intermezzo (if you are into coffee, Buckhead and Perimeter)
I could probably come up with some more ideas if there were something specific you were looking for – I go out to eat a LOT and have been most places in the city! Good luck!

Or there is also:
Swan Coach House which would be near you
or Mittie’s Tea Room in Roswell

I was just thinking about this the other day. There’s a new restaurant in the Georgian Terrace hotel at Ponce & Peachtree across from the Fox. It’s called the Savoy and got fairly good ratings on Urban Spoon. Haven’t been, but the building is sooo beautiful!

My friend Beth is the manager of J. Christopher’s in alpharetta. They have a LOVELY party room that’s perfect for showers or bridesmaids luncheons.
There is also several really great locations of J. Christophers (only open for breakfast, brunch and lunch) around the metro ATL area.
There are two other locals that are very pretty. One in Roswell in the historic area with original artwork all around in an over a century old house..the other in Sandy Springs with a lovely outdoor courtyard.
Food there is so yummy!

Update for all the ATL girls: I think we’re going to have it at the Marietta Conference Center. It’s just off of the 120 loop in Marietta. It was recently taken over by a major hotel chain — I think it’s either Marriott or Hilton — and my mom recently attended a tennis brunch there and said it was lovely! (and reasonably priced too — bonus!)
Thanks for all the suggestions and ideas.

Make sure to let us all know how your experience is there!! I’ll admit I’m asking that selfishly…I’m always looking for new venues for company events 🙂

Don’t forget the Swan House…so girly and nice!
And I had my luncheon at Mitties…it was great despite my terrible hangover 🙂
