I use Helzberg. Shane Co. are great too. Don’t know any working from home. Icebox is also one I’ve seen some use.

I would recommend Solomon Brothers in Tower Place 100 on Peachtree Rd. They’re not cheap, but  they’re also not a ‘chain’ jeweler and they’ve got expert jewelry repair people on site!

Wendy at Mariloff was a dream to work with.

Cumberland Diamond! They are amazing!! My whole family uses them. They are NOT a chain, obviously. Angie is the absolute best. PM me for any details. We have gotten amazing deals on my fiancé’s wedding bands and any work that I needed on my band, which came from a jeweler in New York. They had no problem doing any work on it, even though I didn’t purchase it from there. We will also be getting my wedding band from there. Edited to add, their in-house jeweler is amazing!

mrsfoster2012 :  a “in house” jeweler is one who workes in the store, chain jewelers will mail your peice to a store with with a jeweler in it. Helzberg will have 3 or 4 locations in a city but only one may have the jeweler (or it may be sent to a differenct city all together).  It’s worth working with a “in house” jeweler so nothing is lost in massages and notes, you get to talk to the person making/fixing the peice in person each time.

I’m in DC, but our jeweler has a branch in Atlanta. They were amazing! I’ve worked with both the DC and NY offices, and both were wonderful. I can’t gush enough.  We were given so much more personal attention than anywhere else we looked. They also have in-house jeweler for repairs, sizing,e tc.

David Douglas family friend works there and it’s where we got his wedding ring. Google them the reviews say it all!
