I used to go to Atlantic City often.  One of the new hot spots is The Revel.  I’m not sure how the business is going for them though as they started out during a rough time for them.  A lot of people enjoy The Borgata, but it’s not on the beach.   A little more inland yet not too far from the other casinos.  There’s the Showboat as well that’s located right on the boardwalk and near Hard Rock Cafe.

I planned an Atlantic City bachelorette party for my best friend when I was her Maid/Matron of Honor in 2009 and we had a great time! I highly recommend the Tropicana. It’s right on the boardwalk, has great restaurants, and lots of different kinds of bars and clubs inside. They call that are The Quarter and it’s perfect because you can easily hop between places and try a lot of different things. There’s an Irish bar, a karaoke place, a modern looking clubby lounge, a sports bar, and a fun Russian bar with ice on the walls (to name a few). It’s definitely a great place that you can do a bunch of different activities- including walking the boardwalk and hitting the beach!

Good luck and happy planning!

@ScarletMiller:  I agree about Tropicana!  I always forget about that one since it’s on the other end of the boardwalk where I’m used to staying!

I’ve been to AC many times. I love Harrah’s and the Borgata. There are a ton of great restaurants. For clubs I recommend Dusk, The Pool and Murmur, I haven’t been to Revel yet, but heard good things. If you email the clubs ahead of time you can usually get on the guest list meaning a reduced or no cover charge and you don’t need to wait on line.

I went for my cousin’s bachelorette party a few months ago. We stayed at Cesar’s and went to the spa, they had some great packages – choose 2 services for $120, which includes tip.

All ones recommended here are good! The Borgata is like the Bellagio in Vegas. Very nice and fancy, upscale, pricey, but definetly the “top of the line”. Next is Ceasars – they have great shopping, spa, etc. Good, more affordable hotels are The Tropicana, Harrah’s, etc. How long would you be staying? Most people don’t stay in AC for long, but I think itd be good for a 2 or 3 day trip. You could also could go to NYC for a day by bus or train if you want.
