just when I thought we had our reception nailed down.. that darned winged troublemaker (aka. the Good Idea Fairy) layed another one on me:
**A Second Line**
A second line is an all time New Orleans tradition that occurs at the end of a wedding event. It’s somewhat like a parade where the participants incorporate umbrellas, handkerchiefs and a brass band.
Of course having a second line would entail hiring a local brass band… do you think it can be pulled off in Arizona???
Enquiring minds wanna know 😉

That looks like so much fun! I don’t see why you couldnt bring alittle of they bayou to the desert. But you have to do those umbrella’s, those are so coool.

Oh yes ma’am!!! It is SO much fun to dance down Boubon or Decatur street after a wedding!!! W00t!!! What’s a second line without the brass and the brellas!! After I posted this I called/woke-up my Cousin in N’awlins to both share the idea AND ask her to price a few gorgeous black & white umbrellas for me. Woo-hoo!!!!! I just hope she remembers the conversation, as it was after 2 inthe morning her time when I called…
Thanks for the fun vote of confidence Diva!!!!!

@MsChievous08: Look up user Soon2BMrsMiles. She did it for her wedding in June and I am sure she has photos of it up so you can see.
