I’m hoping that somebody an give me some insight on attendance numbers for post-wedding brunches. Basically, I’m trying to figure out what percentage of guests who attend the wedding will come to brunch the morning after, and also how many guests seem to be on-hand at one time (this will be an open-house/drop in).
My relatives have graciously offered to host a casual post-wedding brunch for us, but are concerned about capacity (they don’t think they could have more than 50 people in the house at any given time). We’re estimating roughly 125-165 attendees at the actual wedding, and need to figure out if we should invite all wedding guests to the brunch, or only invite a smaller group. In a perfect world, I would invite everybody and include information on the back of the invitation, but if that’s not realistic, I’ll winnow down the brunch guest list.
Any insight on percentages here?
