I cannot believe that I haven’t found these earlier, but no matter. Ladies, I give you the Khussa shoe:
These shoes are typically made of leather and are worn for belly dancing. How glorious are they???
Apparently they don’t have a left or a right and so must be broken in and will mold to your foot, which to me sounds extremely comfortable. ETA: They also come in a vast array of colors.
Has anyone worn a pair? If so, what are your impressions?

Never seen or heard of them! But if they mold to your foot, the must be amazingly comfy!!!! That sounds awesome!

I know! I’d never heard of them either, but they are EXACTLY what I am looking for! Finally, a flat that will work where a ballet flat has failed!
I can’t tell you how exciting this is!

I don’t think they look comfortable at all. They look really flat, even for flats, lol, and look like they would wear out fast – there’s hardly anything to the bottom!

@Bantioo: quite true. But if you’re only planning on wearing them for the wedding and for breaking in around the house, could be totally worth it.
I love that they’re meant to be danced in!
I just did a bit of research on another site, and the reviewers said they were pretty comfy. I would imagine an insert is in order just in case.

I think they are really cute!! I wonder if they are comfortable!? Thanks for posting them!

Those are cute, but flat/flat shoes and my high arches are not friends.

KMS i am with you, my feet would nooot be happy with those. As a dancer alllll dance shoes wear pretty quick becuase they take a good beating but for just wearing they should last a while.
