Be careful posting vendor names and bad reviews on the boards. There are some people on here who will get on you about it and I’ve even seen them contact a photographer before.

You should write a review in the vendor section, that might be more useful to brides who are searching for vendors!

@reinab505: Well, as long as it’s true and the OP can stand by her words, I don’t see a problem.

I know you are trying to be helpful and if I lived there I would appreciate a heads up, but I’ve seen things get ugly on here whether you are telling the truth or not (I’m not saying that is the case here). Some bees might get a little testy and snippy about it.

I hate to see it happen is why I even said anything.

@scarver0723: Are you still looking for a photographer? I got married in Georgia…our photographer was based out of Lawrenceville – he did a WONDERFUL job, had a 2nd photog, got the majority of the shots I wanted (it was my own fault for not providing the most detailed shot list) and was SO good to work with! Please PM me if you would like his information and/or to see some of his pictures from my wedding. Good luck!

What did they do to cause this bad review? You said you’re now looking for a new photographer… all I got was that she was “disrespectful” to you.

It usually goes really bad when someone posts a bad thread about venders (just to warn you). Plus, the vendor almost always finds out. To review them is one thing, to say “watch out & don’t waste your time/money with them” without much backing sounds more like you’re trying to hurt their business. I totally could be wrong there, I don’t know the story… its just really vague.

What’s your budget? Maybe we can help you find someone else.

Actually, I used Amy Arrington for my engagement photos and wedding last year and she did an awesome job.  I found her to be really easy to work with — she laid everything out in the contract so clearly and we got exactly what we paid for — great pics and wonderful memories! I find it disheartening that you would use this outlet to bash her (or any professional) – clearly this is not the whole story here and as an attorney, I would certainly be worried about a slander claim…just saying…

Whatever the merits of the original poster’s complaint, there is zero chance it meets the legal standards for slander.  Just saying.

Not sure what you mean…?? I can only speak to my experience.  Point being – check people out for yourself, don’t base things on someone’s ranting and raving.
