I’m 5’10 & plus size… wearing 2″ kitten heels in my La Sposa Fanal here (with a hoop). Perfect length! I’m really happy as I don’t have to pay the hefty hemming fee!! This is pre-alterations…

I’m about 6’0, and I wore Mori Lee 4914, which is similar to 3124. I didn’t realize they came in 3 different lengths, but I didn’t have to have any extra added on top of the standard length (I wore flats). Good luck, bee!

I am 6’0 and a street size 10. I found the most luck with David’s bridal where I ended up purchasing my dress. I found the few boutiques I went to charged 300-400 for extra length whereas David’s was only going to charge 50 dollars. Every dress I tried on was far too short so I tried to squat to see how the dress would look full length. The funny thing is I ended up buying the one sample dress that was long enough for me! I am also wearing flats.

I’m 6’0 and a street size 14/16. I went with Alfred Angelo for my dress (#2437) and had to order extra length, but it was only an additional $50 (which is the price across the board for extra length on all AA dresses). I’ll be wearing flats at my wedding as my Fiance is 5’11 and it’s an outdoor ceremony/barn wedding so heels would be a disaster… so some hemming will be required.

fromsmithtodavis:  commenting to follow. Haven’t tried on anything yet but I am 5’10 and planning on wearing high heels.   Did you try anything on yet?  All you talk brides that posted pics look beautiful!

fromsmithtodavis:  My dress was a Maggie. I bought the sample since it was exactly long enough and each designer typically only guarantees their measurements up to one inch. So it’s possible that the sample was an extra inch longer and the one I could have ordered would have been an inch short, making it two inches shorter than the sample and way too short. I could have ordered it with extra length for $150, but I would have ended up chopping most of it off. I’m 6’2″ and wore flats.
