@Cantstartafire1:  Is a curling wand different from a regular curling iron? She was teasing at the root, spraying the whole strand with hairspray, and then curling! I feel like her spraying it first was burning my hair and possibly caused some breakage. She used something in a silver bottle, not sure what it was. I just feel uneasy telling her anything! Actually the day after my hair/makeup trial my Mom had called up there to ask something and she had already booked the time we had discussed for my wedding day. We were supposed to pay the remaining balance at the trial if we wanted that time set, but were not made aware of that. The only time she had available was 10:30 and my wedding doesn’t start until 5:30, with the way it had already fallen I’m afraid the day of will be a total disaster with all that time in between. I feel like she did that on purpose, I’m so afraid she is going to try and sabotage me the day of!

@beautifulmama28:  Aww thank you, that means alot as I wasn’t that happy with the end result! It just didn’t hold the way I wanted, and I was expected a more polished result. The headband we payed $50 for it at the place where I bought my dress and of course there was no return policy, about a week later I was in Hobby Lobby and saw the exact same one for $10! I was shocked, and of course didn’t tell my Mom about it since she was the one that bought it, she would of had a cow! lol But I love it!

@beautifulmama28:  I am fully aware that is way early too be having my hair/makeup done, but I have no one else! There were only two other people that I know of in my area and neither one of them would ever contact me back! I’m just gonna hope for the best, and bring all my own stuff so I can touch up if needed! Hobby Lobby along with Michael’s both have like two aisles dedicated to wedding stuff! Hobby Lobby is better though in my opinion and every other week all wedding stuff is 50% off! I wish I would have known about all the stuff they have earlier in my wedding planning cause we could have got alot of stuff much cheaper and more conveniently! Everything you could think of that you would need for a wedding they pretty much have it! They have a pretty good selection of headbands, and most of them are the same ones I saw at the place we bought my dress which was a small boutique, and they were charging $50 and up for them! They probably buy them there and then jack up the price, pretty crazy!!! In my Hobby Lobby the wedding stuff is just a few aisles down from all of the artificial flowers, but I don’t know how yours is set up! I really like the pic you posted, I think that would look great!

@blondiegirl:  Yes there is a big difference between a curling iron, and a wand. A wand will curl and the curl will hold better and last longer than a regular curling iron. Esp since you will be waiting all day now I would totally go with the wand. Also, the silver bottle spray could have been a thermal hot spray that helps curl the hair as well, or it could have been hairspray. Either way i would recommend you going in with dirty hair the day of your wedding. If it’s clean , your hair won’t curl as well! I’m sorry to hear you having so much trouble with your hair stylist, and I hope she isn’t doing anything on purpose! I hope you have an amazing wedding , and if you have anymore questions just message me ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. how are you wearing your hair: Updo

    2. dress style: lace, a line, cap sleeves

    3. venue style back yard (i have a barn back there and we are using it for the dance floor but not barn/rustic theme)
