@ValerieBee03:  I don’t have a bridal party and I am still walking down the aisle with my dad. Everything will be the same, just without guests/a bridal party.

I think that the groom, parents, and officiant walk down the isle too so it shouldn’t be too weird 🙂

We’re inviting about 50 guests. They will be seated, music will be playing while everyone waits, and then, TA-DA! The processional music will begin, everyone will stand and look down the aisle… And I’ll be there, in my wedding dress, walking with my dad.

No big deal 🙂 I don’t think it’ll be weird at all.

I didn’t have a bridal party and still marched down the aisle. You don’t have to use the wedding march. I didn’t. I walked in with a song played by my SIL on the piano that was 90 seconds long. It was perfect.

I rented a balcony at SF City Hall and we had no music. My brother did our ceremony. He asked people to sit because we would begin. My husband walked out with his mom, and then my dad walked me.

I will have only my sister as my maid of honor. So my brother will walk my mother down, then grooms parents next, then groom and best man together then maid of honor followed by my dad walking me down the aisle. Its not any traditional order but it works!

@ValerieBee03:  that is EXACTLY what we did, except we also had 2 flower girls and a ringbearer.  It was great – fairly quick, but still a nice traditional processional.

@ValerieBee03:  I was so hopped up on adrenaline that I have no real idea – plus I was hidden away in the house near the ceremony site and couldn’t really see everyone else’s part.  I’d guess it was around one and half to two and half minutes, though…

My brother and his wife did it ( with one MOH, and BM)..but no other wedding party and it was amazing. All eyes were on her and it was truly her day. No drama, no distractions. The ceremony was intimate and quick.

I think it will be okay. I actually think, that is really what the wedding day is all about anyway, you and him surrounded by loving family members.

I consider myself to not have a bridal party even though I have a MOH, BM ring bearer and flower girl. But that’s it. I’m like it that way. The girls I’d chosen to be bridesmaids will still be there and do stuff for me. They just won’t be wearing matching dresses.
