Oooh! San Diego is my hometown! I miss it so much! I spent my early twenties living downtown, so I love the Gaslamp! I miss going for walks downtown and all the great little unique places. I really miss Balboa Park too, though. And Coronado. And going to Jack Murphy Stadium (now Qualcomm) to see games with my dad. I hope to take my fiancee to San Diego soon to see where I grew up! I am so homesick! Oh, and I hated going to Sea World every year for school trips, but I miss it now. And the Wild Animal Park!! OK, I’ll stop now!

I’m so glad to see this pot.  I’m moving to San Diego late this summer.  Even though I live 3-4 hours away, I haven’t been there in about 10 years.  WOW!  It gives me ideas of where to go and tkae my fiance since we will be stationed there soon.

ahh yeah, I’m pretty sure Balboa Park is my favorite place on earth. I also love going to Sunset Cliffs by OB, and Windansea in La Jolla (I prefer cliffs with beaches instead of straight sand… i think it’s beautiful)

I also love all of the shops and such in hillcrest and kensington (and antique row and everything else around there).

Haha, now I’m mostly thinking of places to eat… maybe that should be the next thread. 😉

I am moving back to San Diego in two weeks or so, and this is getting me all excited.

Hillcrest! The Landmark and Off the Record! Wow, I spent hours in Off the Record in high school, and exploring Kensington too, where my cool cousin lived.

I totally miss the food! My favorite restaurant was LaProvence downtown. Is that still there? And all the great mexican places…. there is nothing even close here. And sushi. And In N Out Burger.

I’m jealous!

I love The Cove in La Jolla. And I especially like kayaking in La Jolla where you get to see the lepard sharks and be right up next to the seals. Oh, and I really miss pigging out at the San Diego Faire or what I still lovingly refer to as the Del Mar Faire.

I LOVE Balboa Park and just wandering aimlessly around the zoo. The new monkey exhibit rocks! Coronado is great if you can put up with the traffic…haha. The Gaslamp is great for a night out on the town…eat at THE FIELD! Best Irish food you’ll ever eat!
