Hey girls, we’re getting so close!!! I feel like 😀 and also :S about that. Psyched to marry my man, but soo much to do and also want to keep working at looking picture perfect for the big day. So I thought a thread about what we’re all doing to look and feel our best would be good motivation. Share your tips, your goals, meal and exercise plan, progress pics, whatever.
I’ll start. I’m 5’5″ 119 lbs (down 6 lbs from January). I’m hoping to be more like 113 for the wedding, cause I’ve really liked being at that weight in the past. (I have a petite frame and NO boobs, so I think I carry my weight a little heavier than some.)
For exercise, I’ve been doing the Insanity videos off and on for a few months (holy crap that’s tought!), plus trail running or mountain biking a few days a week. I’m just about to get a gym membership and get back to lifting – hoping to tone up my arms some more before August 24. In general, high intensity interval training has been pretty effective for me – running sprints plus jogging, Insanity, etc.
On the diet, my metabolism is pretty low, so for my goal I have to stick to 1100 calories a day. (Plus some more if I work out.) Freaking hard!!!!!! I’m eating a pretty low-carb diet (no grains, sugars, alcohol) with lots of veggies and lean protein. Honestly the hardest part is not having a few glasses of wine several days a week. Ugh. I swear to god, the week after my wedding, I’m going to eat a whole pizza, a jar of nutella, and a bottle of wine in one sitting!
Don’t have any progress pics but here’s one from a couple months back. This is NOT the most flattering pic of me, it’s a weird angle and I was trying really hard NOT to suck in. I think my arms and my tummy are more toned now, yay.
So, anyone else? Bueller, Bueller?
