Thanks, belle italia!  I am a super organizer, and I just stress out until things are in place!

Our invites are modern, and brightly colored…we’re doing the pocketfolds and bellyband things.  How about you??

Venue/Caterer/DJ/Photobooth/Photographer – Booked

DIY STDS – sending any day

Dress – purchased and in πŸ™‚

Bridesmaid or Best Man Dresses – purchased, not yet in

Centerpieces – started to design in my head, some of the pieces have been bought

Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts – mostly bought (personalized flip flops and pearl neckalaces) but are on ongoing process, just started DIY personalized hangers for my Bridesmaid or Best Man the other night

Wedding Music List/Rough Iteniary for the Weekend/other thoughts & ideas – all typed up πŸ™‚

I work in the school system, I think I really need to go to work before I have no planning left for next year πŸ™‚

– Have an idea for centerpeices

– DIY invites design done not yet printed or put together

– Bridal party chosen

 

I am currently working on florist, decorator and debating on the chair covers! Do get them or not?? 

I think I am going to start looking for my dress in the next couple of weeks

Thinks makes me feel a little better, you ladies seem to be on the same page as me, I thought I was way ahead of schedule!  I ‘m so glad to be in the “less than a year” phase, now I don’t feel as crazy telling people everythign that I have planned already πŸ™‚

Hey gals, I am a 18th August Bride! πŸ˜€ Nice post! πŸ˜€

What me and bf have done so far:

 

Booked church – For free

Booked venue – Paid for

Photographers booked – For free

Bridalparty arranged, all of them

Alcohol is bought every month in the taxfree.. 2 bottles every time we travel. (we travel once twice a month)

Theme – Vintage

Colors – Not yet decided

DIY invites, place charts, program – can’t start those until we know what we want as colors.

DIY Fabric bouquets and bouts – Need to order material

DIY Lace knitted wedding shawl – Need to order yarn

Bridesmaid or Best Man dress – Decided on models, just need BM’s sizes to order

Weddingdress – This is the toughest one, not yet decided

DIY Centerpieces are in the works

DIY favours are yet to fix

DIY Menu has been arranged and I will be making the apetizer and dessert, the entrees will be made by a chef we know

DIY Cake has been decided  I am making marsepan princess cake the day before. Simple as that!

I am a August 11, 2012 bride..

–  Venue – Ceremony and Reception (same place) – Booked

–  Caterer (have to use venue’s) and know what menu I want ..

– Photographer – Booked

– DJ – Booked

– Officiant – Booked

– Decorator – Booked

– Baker (we are having cupcakes and a small cake..   Know which cupcake toppers I want) – Booked

– Color scheme picked out (black, white and red)

– Engagement pictures done already and had the engagement party

– Started on wedding website, doing pretty good..

– Centrepieces chosen, have a good idea for decor ideas what I want..  Just have to coordinate with my decorator and soon to be florist.

–  Bridal party is chosen, think the Maid/Matron of Honor is thinking of ideas for the bachelorette party..

 

– Florist – in the middle of interviewing now, hopefully make a decision in a week or two.

– Videographer – I know which person I want to use (family friend) but I just haven’t gotten around to meeting with them yet..

– Just started trying on wedding dresses a couple days ago but that will be a while I’m not rushing into it..  But my first time shopping was quite good though!

– Have an idea of Save-The-Date Cards I want to use, I have to fully decide if I will use a template off the internet or have someone help custom make my own to personalize it a bit more..  (Since I have no photoshopping skills at all).   Have a good idea for invitations as well (DIY pocketfolds) but haven’t designed them yet, just have inspiration pictures..

– Been talking with the bridesmaids about dresses and getting their opinions of what they like.. But its proven to be difficult to find a style they all like..  They won’t be trying them on until the fall.

I think that’s it? haha I’ve been busy.

Decorations- Slowly collecting

Wedding party- all chosen and said yes!

Flower girl dresses- bought (my daughters are the flower girls)

 

I know I am forgetting other things but I have gotten ALOT done already
