mem7 :  yay!! That’s such good new! And reassuring to me that my symptoms can come and go and all can be normal. Do you know how far along you are?

lily101814 :  5w6d by LMP, 5w4d by conception. The next ultrasound will count as the dating one but given my bloodwork results I’m guessing it’s further along than I thought. My HCG was 16 474 yesterday which is crazy for 5 weeks! It’s so relieving. The only symptom I have today is nausea, but I am pretty sure that’s just because of how nervous I was about the ultrasound and bloodwork!

mem7 :  super happy for you!!!

my second hcg was 3 so on to the next month.  Couldn’t even get a doc on th phone to discuss some concerns I had about prior medical issues. Only nurses call you. Odd.

financegal87 :  To my pleasure and surprise, my GP is part of a specialised maternity clinic. Her office has a whole team devoted to obstetrics. This is the fastest I’ve ever had test results back from them and I could totally get used to it.

So sorry to hear, Bee. Stay in touch and let us know how it goes. We will be thinking of you.

mem7 : That’s wonderful they were able to find the heartbeat so early! So exciting! I felt like I was hit by a truck yesterday but today I have energy again so I was starting to panic.

I’m kind of pre joining the thread as I just found out yesterday that I’m pregnant. I have a Dr’s Appointment tomorrow to confirm I am pregnant. I already have an OB Appointment on 12/14 so fingers crossed everything goes fine. So excited to find out my estimated due date!

teacher-bee-in-the-sea :  I thought it was pretty soon too but I wonder if it’s better to wait later? I don’t even know if the sac will be visible yet?

vancin86 :  My doc was concerned about my pregnancy being an ectopic so sent me for a transvaginal scan to locate it, I went yesterday and found out I’m 4w2d, conception being around 2 weeks ago, we were able to see a gestational and yolk sack. Hopefully it’s not too early for you 🙂

sweetmama :  So awesome to hear I’m trying to think positive and hope that’s not the issue. I have an OB Appointment on 12/14 and hoping to push for a Transvaginal scan. Also I’m spotting a little still and have been spotting since Monday but I only spot in the morning.

vancin86 :  I know everyone says spotting in pregnancy is normal at times, but I understand being apprehensive. Really hoping you get good news when you go for your visit next week 🌸

sweetmama :  Yep, I have heard it’s normal too so I’m not really worried yet. I’m just trying to relax and enjoy life at the moment. I will talk to my doctor this morning about it just in case.

    vancin86 :

Congrats on your BFP and welcome!

I have been spotting as well, since Tuesday. I’ve noticed it only occurs when I am active (after commuting to/from work and when I went for a run yesterday). Let’s hope its all normal and we have sticky babies. Good luck!
