I am an August 5th bride but I figured I would chime in.

I am totally stressed. I am getting married in my home town (2 hours from where I live now) and I won’t be home until 3 days before the wedding. There are little things I want to get done but can’t! I have a list of stuff I can do but I keep thinking I have more time.

We have to finalize the ceremony playlist, make appointment for mani/pedi, parent gifts, seating chart/escort cards, and plan honeymoon excursions. Maybe I should be using this time to do my favors? Nah, WB wins 🙂 I have tomorrow off, I am going to tackle this list!

I’m totally stressed and 100% exhausted.  I can’t wait until it’s here and I can relax!

Left to do:

finish my vows

pick up my dresses next week

pick up favors the morning of (they’re donuts)

organize all the DIY stuff to get ready for the day!

It’s not too much, but it’s too much at the same time!  Lol.  I just want to be married now.

I am an August 3rd bride. I am tired because my work called me back to work this week after 7 1/2 months.

Left to do:

Have my mom press my dress.

Organize wedding stuff and double check what else we need (Spoons, extra napkins stuff like that.)

Next week I will be cooking all the food with the exception of the cake.

Buy fruit and veggies for fruit salad and veggie trays.

Look on ebay and decide today if I want a cake topper or not. (I’m having a sheet cake)

Make a hair appointment. I didn’t get a trial and I hope they can do it the way I want (which I am still undecided at this point if I want a half up half down or an updo.)

9 days to go!

Getting married August 3rd.

Everything has been set in stone for my simple Bahamas Elopement, so I’m pretty much relaxing, when it comes to the wedding stuff…

The BEING MARRIED stuff, though – that’s fun. (Keep calling Fiance “Future Husband” get to used to it).

Finish Programs

Print out explinations for the “Wishing Tree”

Punch holes in all the leaves for my Wishing tree and search for my stupid christmas hooks… I know theyre somewhere! If I can’t find my christmas hooks, go on a frantic search for Christmas hooks in July (Christmas in July is a thing right? This is possible, right?) >.<

Convince my Fiance to chase down the missing responce cards of people I know are coming but who can’t seem to return the darn things with their names written on them.

Figure out the seating chart

Write out my escort cards

Print out a desert menu thingy… cause a wedding magazine convinced me that I need to do this for people to love me.

Call the bakery to confirm that my top teir is large enough to support my rather large cake topper… cause theres nothing like the last minute to figure out these things.

Call the limo driver… cause I haven’t even talked to him yet.

Figure out where I’m going to get my hair done… Last minute

Figure out what I’m doing to honor a relaive who passed away in the past year… again, last minute with the deciding.

Gather together and frame my/his family’s wedding pictures to display in the church.

Buy a frikken garter… I wanted one from Etsy, now I’ll settle for one from the craft store. *rolls eyes*. For that matter, I also need stockings to wear with my dress.

Sew a button into my dress

Pick up my sash and headband from my Aunts house.

Buy wedding lingerie (wow thats a tricky word to spell)

Buy clothes for the honeymoon, and luggage to pack it in.

Remember to pay all my bills and get a new drivers license and stickers for my car before I leave for the honeymoon (my birthday’s coming up too).

Meet with my venue lady (I’m so stressed I cant remember the proper term for her)

Pick out my wedding day makeup.

Get married

I win for the most to do in the shortest amount of time! Yaaaaay! *sobs*

But I am on vacation all this week, so wedding things SHALL BE DONE!
