Had my invites weighed today and it’s only going to take a .47c stamp, yay. Too bad my post office didn’t have or know about the seed packet stamps. I ended up just ordering them online.

I’m so in love with mine!  We ordered the invite and rsvp card on etsy, hand wrote out the addressess and return address on the kraft paper envelopes, and made the insert tags hung on the bows.  I really like how the regular stamps look with them – it feels sort of vintagy to have a little patriotism thrown in on the brown envelopes.  We have a generally 20s-40s ish feel (I didn’t want it to be too literal), and I think it all fits so well.

@vorpalette:  LOVE! Modern, yet classy. The wording is awesome too… “bad dance moves” haha

Fiance and I spent about 7 hours this weekend working on our invites!!!  All finished with the exception of addressing, stamping, and final assembly (mainly putting the belly bands on).  I’m so excited!!  If any of you saw the invites I’d done a while ago (like, last year!!), these are completely redone, but still keep the bunny theme… I’m so happy with them!!  Sending them out probably at the end of this month!

@elysion:  You guys did such a great job!!! The pop up card is incredible. And I love the fact that they’re home made! That makes it 10x more special 🙂

@tbd2013:  Our RSVP deadline is a month away from our date, so we are sending out our invitations at the end of this month/beginning of May to provide ~2.5 months for people to respond.  I’m hoping that’s enough/not too much; we are basically following the timeline of FI’s cousin – we got their invites at the beginning of this month for their July 6 wedding!

Our RSVP deadline is also about a month from the wedding (I need the final numbers 2 weeks before, so I gave a 2 week cushion), so we’re sending them in early June late May, I think.

ETA: I just looked at the calendar and decided that late May is better.

@elysion @vorpalette Thanks!  I’m thinking about sending ours at the end of this month.  Especially, since we did not send out STDs.  I personally think they are pointless for us since most people know our wedding date by now.  Also, this way people have more than enough time to RSVP! P.s. All of your invitations look beautiful!
