Work badge–my coworker did my makeup.  It’s why I got out of bed at 5:20 on the day of the wedding.

I also never spoke to our baker after we ordered the cake last December, and it was a little different than I thought we’d ordered.  Still beautiful and yummy, though.

I forgot to pack shoes in our overnight bag luckily I had wedge flip flops from my reception wear but them being high looked a bit odd with my trackpants lol… but poor Fiance…I mean HUSBAND haha… had to wear his dress shoes with his t-shirt and SHORTS out of the hotel lol…and of course everyone was checking out at the same time so everyone saw us lol….

oh well.

also, one thing I didnt forget but I would say a must in case you get no sleep….VISINE!! for red eyes in the morning of the wedding. I woke up with not 5 min sleep and my eyes were burning I was so tired. I squirt that in before heading to the salon and I was totally fine all day.

At the hall there is a large blank area behind where the head table usually goes and I never thought about a decoration for that area. Thank goodness I had some craft wire, curtain sheers and a strand of white lights just laying around. A creative bridesmaid and a couple of FI’s aunts strung up the sheers with the lights and it was gorgeous!!

@Overjoyed: & @MrsSancerre:  We loved St. Lucia!!  We stayed at the Sandals Grande resort, so can’t say I have many tips unless you are staying there since we were pretty much at the resort the whole time.  We did take the Simon Say’s Tour which was awesome, takes you around the shore in a speedboat, snorkeling, a mud bath in one of the hot springs within an active volcano crater, lunch, and photo op under a waterfall.  Definitely go snorkeling!!  We also went to Pigeon Island and did a little hiking up two of the big hills, it was fun but only if your only cost is the $6 entrance fee (I saw one of the Sandals resorts advertising $150 to get driven there and provided a picnic lunch etc… kind of a rip off!!).

I forgot about the garter until about 3 days before. Also I had photos I wanted placed at our table that I forgot to tell the venue coordinator about 🙁

• Wedding: August 2013 - Rosehill Community Center

We didn’t really think about how my stuff was going to get set up (the caterer wasn’t terribly helpful there), and how it would all get packed up again – I felt SO BAD seeing my mom and aunts and uncles helping put candle holders and escort cards out on tables, and then packing them up again at the end of the night!  Also – our timeline was thrown out the window because we intended to take family photos before the ceremony, but everyone was so busy with set up that we pushed it to cocktail hour!  Not the end of the world, and it all worked out, but uh…  would have been nice to have assigned stuff ahead of time!
