Me…?  I’m going crazy dividing up Mardi Gras beads into baggies for various centerpieces.

I have barely done anything. But it’s the opposite for me…it is sooo hot in Oz at the moment, I’m waiting til it cools down in about March to get stuck into it. I think we’ve got heaps of time πŸ™‚

So far I have made something like this to display wedding photos of our parents and grand parents:

I’ve still got to make a bunch of things and design invites, but not worried πŸ™‚

We’ve made a portion of our invites (which I’m starting to want to redesign.. doesn’t help that Fiance tells me we can if I want to, and all I want is him to say “no we already spent money and time on these!!”)

we’ve started spraypainting little plastic animals for table decor and motorcycle models for table numbers – it’s gotten too cold to continue though >.<

And I’ve done a dancing shoes/flip flop basket which I totally redid twice, and emergency bags for my bridesmaids!  No pics; I’ve already put them into storage.  As far as projects that still need to be done, the rest of our invitation design, a birdhouse for our cardbox, and closer to the day actual centerpieces and bouquet stuff (pieces for centerpieces have been assembled, gotta purchase green things and assemble closer to spring/summer).  I actually have no idea what other decor we’re going to use like around the actual reception room or the ceremony!!  >_<*

I just finished some labels and tags for our welcome bags. And I am working on the tags for the flip flop basket. I found an awesome basket in white with a green liner at the $1 store so it was perfect because I bought blue flip flops so we have both colors represented.

I am also attempting to clean and tie ribbon/twine on the mason jars. Just recieved the candles and need to decide if we want to put rocks (match the stonework in the venue), colored sand, dried split peas, or just leave empty.

I finished designing the welcome letter but going to wait to print to make sure all the information is completely up to date. I still need to print the place cards, favor tags, and actually put the labels and tags on the welcome bags.

FI’s list includes making wooden signs for ceremony and at the enterance of the ski resort, designing and printing door hangers, make the picture frame card box, and print engagement photos to decorate the cocktail hour space.

Can’t think of anything else at the moment but I am sure there is more stuff.

@lolot:  aw thanks!!  I just feel like I could’ve used the space better and added more information on the inside.  I really love them and put a lot of work into them but can’t help but feel like they could be better >_______<!!

I feel super behind too, but I’ve been trying to get all those pesky big vendors nailed down.  Now that most of the contracts are signed, I’m so excited to get started on the fun stuff…

Last night we FINALLY decided on a save the date design (by yours truly).  I want it to warm up a little so I can spray paint a bunch of things, and I’ve been working on wiring brooches for my bouquet for awhile now (but it is HARD and tedious, so I only do like, 2 before quitting…).

Nothing. I’m having a destination wedding and taking as little as possible. basically, no DIY for me. I might do Out of Town bags but will do those when I arrive in Scotland and buy everything there.

Hopefully, this weekend we are going to play with clay to make cake toppers. Or just make a big mess. We’ll see what happens!

@lolot:  I was just going to glue them together, but Fiance insisted on something sturdier, so I traced all the frames onto a large piece of mdf and he cut it out, and then I used heavy duty wood glue πŸ™‚

@lolot:  I ordered votives from http://www.candles4less.com/ They were super fast and seemed to be priced well! The votives were smaller than normal but they say they burn for 10 hours so should be more than enough. And our wedding is at Stratton! Fiance and I moved up here from NJ/NY and fell in love with the area.

@elysion: I love the invites! I wouldn’t change them! They are so unqiue and beautiful, your guests will love them. Your Fiance is a great guy though wanting to make you happy πŸ™‚ Do you have any other pieces with more information? Maybe you can add another little card (in the shape of a kite?) or even on the back if you wanted to give the guests more. Seeing the whole thing together might change your mind.

@VermontBride13:  We haven’t designed the other pieces of the invite yet although there definitely will be a few additional cards; I just wanted to get this part of the invite out of the way since I thought it would take longer than it actually did.  Ahhhh but you are right, I should wait until we have the whole thing or at least a mockup >_<!!

I am going to make the belly bands for the invites. We’ve also started our pallet projects to make signs. πŸ™‚
