@lolot:  We are! Thankfully my parents own a trucking company so we have an endless supply of pallets! We broke them apart last weekend and now they are drying out. Unfortunately Fiance works nights so we haven’t had a lot of time to work on them! He’s planning on making a bar out of the pallets too! We’ll see how it goes! Wink

I’ve done:

– designed STDs and invites

– cleaned and painted centerpiece bottles

– painted centerpiece branches

– made my BMs necklaces

– DIYed my wedding shoes

I’ve designed lots of other stuff, but we have no room to build the backdrop stand or store really anything else. :

Collecting Delabeling and spraypainting wine bottles (a total of 55ish) still collecting but I am cleaning and delabeling as I go and waiting for it to heat up to paint.

Our Signs. I have our “Welcome” Sign done. I still have Program Sign, Our big menu sign and our little menus for each of the tables. Plus our head table signs, the little ones for each food item on the buffet and our bar menu. Oh and for our “Confetti bar” too.

Figure out how to decorate the cups for the Confetti and the figure out the cute little poem we want to use.

Our ceremony backdrop (as soon as I get the measurements for the arch) I have a Ton of ribbon and fabric to cut plus finish the garlands.

Find out how to hang the Mason jars on the chairs.

We are DIYing all of our flowers but my aunt is helping me a TON with this so 90% of this I wont be doing.

Our Invites we are using a template from Weddingchicks but printing and layering assembing ourself so it is more of a semi DIY.

Oh and find the ribbon for the candles and add that to all 144 candles lol!

@lolot:  We are doing the Dot garlands too! I think we are doing them out of felt though not 100% sure yet.

Most recently I have been working on our wedding wish favors and they are coming out super cute.

We started buying the vases for the centerpieces and the vases that will be hanging on the chairs for the ceremony.

Lastly I have been cutting cutting cutting paper for the invites.  Fuuuun ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m working on our invitations, which I’ll paint myself. After that, I’ll probably continue with the place cards & ceremony programs.

So far I’ve bought and painted letters that spell out my soon to be new last name that we will place on the head table. Also, we started on the bouquets and I got little glass jars with corks for the table numbers, and I started on my card box.I also started the wire wedding hangers with the names on them. Oh and my dads friend is cutting tree slices for the centerpieces.

Within the next month or so I am going to buy mason jars for the centerpieces, possibly make some jewelery for the bridesmaids, start collecting candles, etc. I also need to decide what decor to have for the church.

I bought the bouquet-making supplies.  I feel like I need to practice making the bouquet somehow.

I’m doing almost everything DIY for the wedding. So far I’ve designed most of the invitations (just need to print them and put them together)…

my bouquet…

which is based on this steampunk-ish bouquet: http://blog.fiftyflowers.com/steampunk-bouquet-diy-steps/

2 of 3 flower girls bouquets; all the corsages for the moms, my sisters, and my aunt…(there are different ones for each beautiful lady)

some of the bouttonnieres for the guys; and tons of paper flowers for centerpieces and reception decor. I’ve also made some paper pinwheels and pom poms, along with a few paper heart chains ala HappyClippings.com:

I have the lace and will be “making” our ring pillow substitute – my dad’s bible (he’s had it since before I was born) with the rings tied in lace inspired from this photo:

I designed our STD’s and will be making signs and such for the wedding venue. And, last but not least, I’m using the frame from my gazebo tent to make a wedding pavilion that Fiance and I will stand under while we say our vows (or at least that’s the plan right now).

Whew! ๐Ÿ™‚ So much to do and only five months to go. But I do have a fair amount done already.

@lolot:  CUTE!

I just picked up my votive holders, so I need to get those painted. I bought the PVC for our backdrop, so I need to cut the rest of it and put it together, then get the curtains to see how it looks.

I need to work on signs, too, as well as scour garage sales to find a big frame for our program.
