I’m from the Netherlands and at most weddings the guest get divided into two groups. First a select group of people (like parents, immediate family and close friends) that are invited for the whole day. (The ceremony, cake cutting, dinner and than a party (like a reception). The other group of people are invited just for the party (reception).
De daggasten (as we call them in Dutch; the dayguest): 43 (including us)
De avondgasten (Eveningguests): +/- 80
These are all people my Fiance and I know. Just one couple that are my parents best friends. All the others are mine and his family (parents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, first cousins), friends, neighbours and a few co-workers.

Invited about 160, so far we have 98 including wedding party of 25. My RSVP cutoff is on June 23. I then start with my B list. Trying to keep it at 125.

I’m on the side of the fence with @garden_bride: we are inviting about 450-500 and hoping only about 420 will show.

We invited 140 people, I have no clue how many will actually show though.

We sent 50 invitations. If all 50 say yes, that would be 100 people. We’re hoping that only 35 to 50 actually come. So far, we have 44 that are coming (22 responses + guest)

Only about 20 to the intimate wedding/reception but about 150 to the picnic/after party in my hometown.

We invited around 160 so far we have had all yes to make it 64. I just hope we make it back towards our original number of 150.

I think the number of invitees was just under 170. 150 is the magic number – if we go over, it’ll be more money and work for me.
We’ve already had 3 no’s, which I’m glad about – my mom’s crazy aunt and 2 of my MIL’s coworkers, who she felt obligated to invite.

We have 35 guests coming.

We invited about 130 (including plus ones and kids) but hoping to keep it 100 or under if we can.
