Thanks for starting a new thread! I finally get to be on a POAS calendar again!

Your age/partner’s age: 36/39

Baby #: 1

Cycles TTC: Officially started trying in July 2018

Usual cycle length: 29 days

Known fertility issues: Male factor; I also had a myomectomy in 2016 to remove fibroids

Trying anything new this month?: Our FET on August 10!

Supplements, etc: Estrace, PIO, and medrol leading up to the FET. I also am doing acupuncture 2x a week and am taking fish oil

POAS/Beta date: My beta is August 21 and I will not be POAS before that

Just for fun: What do you hope to do this month that has nothing to do with TTC? Good question! I am so focused on the FET that we really don’t have any plans to do anything fun, which probably isn’t great. I’d love to take a day trip to the mountains so maybe we’ll organize that this month.

Your age/partner’s age: 36/34

Baby #: Second pregnancy for us, miscarried a couple years ago, and third child for me (2 boys from previous relationship).

Cycles TTC: Officially started trying in June 2018 (So, I guess August makes it 15 months)

Usual cycle length: 30 days

Known fertility issues: Just irregular cycles.  I couldn’t get a PCOS diagnosis from previous physician as I have no cysts per U/S.  Having another full workup done Sept 11.  OBGYN was using our miscarriage as confirmed male fertility.  However, we are starting to wonder if my IUD wasn’t working for a really long time and it wasn’t just potent sperm making their way past it.

Trying anything new this month?: Clomid upped to 100mg

Supplements, etc: COQ10 and going to buy some zinc.  Has anyone took zinc and if so, how much?  I was taking evening primrose oil; however, I keep forgetting to pick more up.

POAS/Beta date: Going to try hold off until the 28th, as early negative tests just create more anxiety!

Just for fun: What do you hope to do this month that has nothing to do with TTC? Epoxy our garage floor…. oh, something fun?  Restore my old china hutch into a coffee bar!

@DogsAndWine:  I know! I can’t believe it’s only a week from Monday. I love spending time in the mountains. I think I prefer it over the beach, but I’m not someone who likes sunbathing and lounging. I would much rather be hiking.

Oh, one thing I’m going to do this month is cut my hair. It currently covers my boobs, but I’m sick of it. I have had the same stylist for 9 years and she knows me well so I think I’m going to let her cut it as short as she wants. She knows what looks good on me and I can’t find any inspiration pictures that speak to me.

@jessig2b:  I haven’t taken zinc for conceiving, but I have taken it during flu season as it helps your immune system. That said, it is easy to take too much and it can make you sick on an empty stomach. I stopped taking it because I wasn’t getting anything out of it.

ROLL CALL

Your age/partner’s age: 34/46

Baby #: Using our last embryo to try for baby#2

Cycles TTC: We knew we needed to do a FET so we havent bothered TTC naturally.

Usual cycle length: 30

Known fertility issues: Husband got diagnosed with cancer shortly after we got married. We had to sperm bank as the chemo  would make him sterile. He is thankfully 5 and half years in remission! It took us 2 years to conceive our daughter. We did 5 IUI’s all failed but one was a chemical but a suspected ectopic and I was treated for the ectopic. We did a ivf retrival in 2017 and a fresh transfer which resulted in a missed miscarrage at 7 weeks. Then we did a fet in 2018 and it resulted in our daughter.

Trying anything new this month?: Doing a FET with our last remaining embryo. Just started the estrogen a few days ago. Tenative transfer date is August 17th. Doing weekly acupuncure and doing meditation.

POAS/Beta date: August 28th and I dont plan on testing before

Just for fun: What do you hope to do this month that has nothing to do with TTC? Humm that is a good question! I have done a lot of things to try and relax in the months leading up to this fet cycle but I haven’t really thought about what I will do now that doesnt have to do with TTC! Probably just read or watch some tv. Nothing too exciting planned right now!

@piscesinsc:  Wow you were right about the estrogen it has made me so emotionally already!! I dont remember it doing that last time. Last time I took it vaginally and this time orally so maybe that is the difference? Seriously cried over nothing yesterday.  Then I freaked out bc DH told me he was getting a cold!! He is fine today so now we think it was allergies but way to freak me out!  How are you doing on the estorgen? Is it still making you emotional?
