Hi all, now that the Facebook page is up and running I have not been back on WB in over 6 months! My previous username was lizoley just so everyone remembers me. I am getting married at Lake Oak Meadows on August 9th. I posted the pics of my venue on page 1 of this forum. 🙂 We are coming up on the 3 month mark and I cannot wait!!!!!

Hello, our date is August 9 and our venue is a beautiful public park in San Diego with an amazing view of the harbor. I haven’t worried too much about the weather as it rarely rains in SD in summer, but after our recent wildfires this past week, I’m thinking I might need a plan B just for air quality. Also starting to think about sun exposure, anyone providing fans or parasols to their guests? I’m definitely going to provide sunscreen as the wedding is at 2 pm!

stringofpearls :  Hello! I came across this thread and your posts because my fiancĂ© and I are considering LOM as our venue! 🙂 but we are concerned about the heat. I’d appreciate it if you could share how your wedding was? Thank you so much!!

ysdaskyblu :  This thread is so old I am just seeing this! We really enjoyed the venue! It was definitely hot but I would not change anything. The coordinators there are great and really helped make the process simple. I dont think you will be disappointed if you choose this venue and congrats!!
