candy11:  Yeah I am going to try and hold off telling them for as long as possible, it will be difficult if I get pregnant this cycle though because my sister’s wedding shower and stagette would both be very early in my pregnancy and I feel like it is inevitable that they will find out then, they know we are planning to try sometime soon so they will be watching my every move. Ah well, deny, deny, deny lol

MapleCreekBride:  Ideally, I would like to get pregnant by September because we plan to see family in Nov/Dec.  We live far away from family, so I guess we can always plan a trip on time to tell family. The good thing is they all live relatively close to each other.

candy11:  Oh yeah, that is lucky. All my close family lives in the same city or a maximum of an hour away so we see them frequently. I talk to my sisters everyday and see them at least once a month. If they find out early it would not be the end of the world because we are so close, but I feel that if they know then we will be obligated to inform DH’s family as well or it will seem unfair.

ROLL CALL!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: 20/3 DPO

Ovulation Date:Monday, July 22

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: 28-32 day cycle. POAS August 2nd @ 12 DPO

Cycles Trying: Around 8. MC on the first cycle.

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): This cycle I just used OPKs and we humped about every 36 hours (not every day, but more than every other day, lol) around the fertile window. I was temping but I felt it was upsetting to scrutinize my charts every month. The OPKs work and I’m pretty confident about my ovulation time, so there really wasn’t a point to doing it anymore.<br /> Also taking a prenatal, vit. D, thyroid med, and following a gluten free diet since I was diagnosed with Celiac 2 weeks ago by my RE (eh!).

Link to Chart, if any:

and for fun – Do you have any fun plans to end your summer (or winter)?

We are leaving for Antigua on Monday! I didn’t roll call last month because the POAS threads have been bumming me out a little. Since I won’t be back until 12 DPO, I know I won’t be able to start racking up BFNs starting at 8 DPO as I have been doing for the last 9 months. Now I must use will power and not pack any FRERs!!!!

ROLL CALL!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: 4DPO

Ovulation Date: The 21st, CD14

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: August 5th

Cycles Trying: This must be cycle 12 I think, and only 10 months trying. Stupid short cycles.

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): We had really good timing this month, B-complex vitamins and prenatal multi. That’s it. I’m over doing all sorts of things to help us out.

Link to Chart, if any: I do chart on FF, but I never remember to link it. Because I only access it on my phone!

and for fun – Do you have any fun plans to end your summer (or winter)? It’s gearing up for the worst winter month of the season here, so I’m planning on ways to stay warm. I am getting started on my Christmas sewing as I make items for a shop that will open in October. So lots of Christmas stockings and decorations. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m also starting a lot of my seeds for the vege garden for summer this month and planning on sorting out the irrigation for my hothouse. No plans to get away as Darling Husband is finishing a job and then on to job hunting and I am applying for jobs as well. Hoping we both find good work that is stable. And also hoping for a BFP so I can stop moping about all my friends who are expecting, it’s a real drag sometimes.

I’m so excited to be doing this for the first time… ๐Ÿ™‚

ROLL CALL!

Current Cycle Day 20; 6 DPO

Ovulation Date: July 18 (I think)

POAS Date: August 1st!

Cycles Trying: This is our first!

BFP Plan: Prenatals, using Clue app to track cycles/symptoms, no heavy drinking

Do you have any fun plans to end your summer (or winter)? We are planning a camping trip to Niagara in September. And I’m hopefully getting a promotion sometime before Christmas. ๐Ÿ™‚

MapleCreekBride:  My sister was so clever on hiding drinking. We went to a wedding where she carrier around a half cup of beer for a couple hours, a birthday party where she went up to the bar by herself and ordered a virgin margarita so no one would know the difference.

auggiefrog:  We both love camping but Darling Husband did the serious hiking/camping when he was a kid (hike in to a remote location, poop in a hole, etc). I can go as far as port-a-potties, but I’m really happiest when we go to a place that has running water. We tent camp, so it’s still outdoorsy, but not as intense as I think Darling Husband would like.

Also, I didn’t O until CD17 last cycle…and I was hitting CD12-14 before that. It’s super frustrating, but I bet you’re close!

GrannyPantiesRock:  NO FRERs!!! They will only bum you out on your vacation if you’re prone to testing early, and think of how exciting it would be to come back home to a BFP!

auggiefrog:  Thank you! The point of the trip is to see the falls, so I’m still researching where the best and closest place to camp would be…

ROLL CALL!

Current Cycle Day/DPO: CD 11

Ovulation Date: Not sure, hopefully sometime between Saturday and Tuesday.

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: Cycles have been erratic for a long time (I stopped depo in Nov 2012 and am just now getting a cycle back) but before birth control I was around 30 days so I plan to POAS on the 11th.

Cycles Trying: NTNP for well over a year now, actively trying since December, which has only been 3 cycles.

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): Prenatals, temping, BD every day from now until O.

Do you have any fun plans to end your summer (or winter)? No fun plans for the end of summer, but hopefully a vacation somewhere in the Fall.

Thanks @auggiefrog ! I’ve been stalking these boards for August ever since I graduated/ dropped out from the July one!

ROLL CALL!

Current Cycle Day/DPO:CD17/ 2DPO

Ovulation Date: 22nd July

POAS Date/Usual Cycle Length: usually 28 days, POAS 6th August

Cycles Trying: this is our 6th month, although we started more like NTNP.

BFP Plan (BD timing, supplements, etc.): We managed to hit O-3 O-2 O-1 O O+1, so we really went for this this month! I used OPKs to time BDing, and used preseed externally… I am taking vitamins, going to acupuncture and taking herbs my acupuncturist is giving me called wen jing tang. We were keen to do things ‘by the book’ this month, to get a sense if we should be looking for more answers with my doc. Lets hope we have smooth sailing this cycle! FX to all of you lovely August gals.

and for fun : Do you have any fun plans to end your summer (or winter)? I have a fun birthday weekend planned at the coast with some friends so that should be good! We will drive out via wine country, have some beach time, go whale watching, and look for starfish in the tide pools…Otherwise just enjoying this gorgeous summer  Also my window box tomatoes should be turning red soon
