@sofiekitty:   I completely agree with you! A more elaborate, 1 to 1.5 inch belt would have been the right choice! Glad to get a confirming opinion from a stylish lady like yourself!

Alterations done!!! Except one thing.. the straps. I HAVE to wear covered shoulders for the ceremony. It is decided. I will remove the straps for the reception.

Here’s how they look, added straps.

I also decided on a raw edge veil as opposed to the lace trim I had initially thought (and bought! ugh.. anyone want a veil?? haha)

Here’s my latest pics.

What do you think ladies??

STRAPS(one of the two anyway)

and here’s the raw edge veil with the dress as strapless

@AlicialovesJose:  You look amazing! The alterations are fantastic and your belt is the perfect width. Loving the sparkle! And if you muuuust wear straps, they look lovely. You can’t tell that it isn’t part of the dress.

@sofiekitty:  You look amazing! I really like the alterations you made. If you don’t mind my asking, can you tell me how much the alterations cost?

@AshleyOtotheJ:  Thanks!! I did a TON of alterations….neckline lowered, belt sewn on, hem, waist taken in, corset cut down at the bottom, back lowered, complete shape change from a-line to tight mermaid….and my salon is not cheap to begin with so all in all I ended up paying almost $1300 in alterations….eeek, I know!

MY WEDDING IS IN 3 DAYS!!!!!!

I can’t believe it’s here! It really hasn’t hit me yet. I just wanted to tell everyone thank you for all your support, help, inspiration, and advice! I absolutely love my dress~! My biggest fear right now is my hair/makeup not going right or breaking out real bad on my face overnight! Eek! But I’m trying not to stress! What will be will be. It it’s in God’s hands now! I’m ready!

I did one more fitting on a full stomach to make sure the dress wasn’t too tight cuz I have a fear of fainting (my mom and sister both nearly did on their wedding days… due to tight dresses + dehydration) so I’ll have plenty of belly room to stay hydrated!!

Here’s the last pic I took at the lasat fitting. I have on the simple cross necklace I’ll be wearing, earrings, the blingy belt that I LOVE, my hair will be down like the pic but more full and done looking… I’ll wear straps for the ceremony but not for anything else.

Wish me luck!!
