Hhhhhhhhhh! Thanks to wonderful timing of my egg hatchery down below, it looks like I’ll be a bloated, pimply, oily mess on the day of my wedding. I can picture a little intern, hunched over his computer for hours touching up my ginormous pimples ๐
Anyone else in the same boat or have been?

Nope, should be starting during my honeymoon but thinks to a wonderful thing called birth control pills, I’m skipping that month.
If I were not on the pill, Aunt Flo would make per presence known that day whether it was my cycle or not. When I was off the pill she always made her apperance at every vacation I ever had.

No need for that to happen these days as long as the pill is not contraindicated.

@LovebirdsSC: I was put on the pill to regulate my period, but after 4 attempts, even the lowest estrogen ones made me a hormonal mess, so the doc agreed that I should go off of them. Oddly enough, once we stopped messing around with the pills, my body began to regulate itself.
I’m so jealous of everyone who can control when it will happen!

Yes. Which is why I just got a BC perscription, but after reading all the horrible reviews about it, I’m not sure if it’s even worth it..

Nope, she was, then I realized that she would come either on my wedding day and then continue to stay for my honeymoon. So I’m “uninviting” her to the wedding via birth control pills.
Though I do have this to say, nothing stops my Fiance and I from dong the horizontal tango…though we do move it to the shower. Fiance doesn’t get too grossed out, he realizes that its natural and in way its good that I get them because that means we aren’t pregnant!

She’s thinking about it, but I’m telling that bitch she’s not welcome ๐
(Due to show up on the 13th according to my cycle chart, but hopefully gone by the wedding day…we’ll see!)

@Frukaj: Out of curiousity, which pill are you going on?

Generess Fe. It seems to be a fairly new pill (on the market for under a year). That in and of itself makes me nervous. I know people are more likely to write a review for products/services when they’ve had a negative experience, but I haven’t read anything positive about it and I don’t know anyone who has been on it.

This is one of my greatest fears, the second is being pregnant in my couldn’t get any smaller wedding dress. I’ve been using the p tracker app and scrolling forward to oct to see when it’s coming. Right now Flo is thinking of showing up at the honeymoon, but she usually comes a couple days early so I’m hoping she’ll come and go before the big day. I won’t be doing BC because of personal preferences. So for me it’s hoping, praying, and obsessing over the p tracker. ๐

@Frukaj: Is that the generic Yaz? I’m on that, I know it spelled similarly at least. It was a life saver to me. My cycle was out of control, couldn’t even get out of the house because it was so heavy. Now she only visits for 2 days and its so light. And yes that is normal! My OBGYN says the fewer days the better!

Hormones unfortunately aren’t options for everyone. And then a stressful event a few months ago altered my cycle and yup, “she” will be visiting during the wedding. Unless I stress out enough to push it back again…

@LovebirdsSC: I don’t think so. I think it’s its own brand name, but I don’t know much about BC or different brands, as I’ve never been on it.
I think it’s similar to Loestrin Fe? The OBGYN said it’s a low hormone dosage.
