I have a really superstitous friend who found out that this year is the most lucky year to get married for her (year of dragon) for the next 3 years, so she’s already started laying down deposits and doing the whole wedding planning process.
Unfortunately, she’s just found out that her auspicious dates clashes for her groom-to-be. In fact a fortune teller tells them its supposed to be his worse year for the next cycle. As mumbo jumbo as it may sound, he has already been experiencing unexpected bad luck in the last 2 months alone: his car gets broken into, things get stolen outside his house, issues at work keep popping up for him only despite others having similar tasks, missing important deadlines due to unforeseen issues, unable to sell his second car meaning rising debt elsewhere, etc.
Does this stuff really matter? How do fortune tellers and those whom believe in such stuff “counteract”? Anyone came upon something like this before? His parents are freaking out. I’m trying to find a way to reassure her to go ahead with the wedding as at this stage, she seems pretty stuck between holding off, or go ahead and hope for the best!
