@mcgoo:  I reckon I could brave the cold for chocolate lol! I’ve heard Tassie is beautiful, never been though. Would make a nice change from the heat & humidity πŸ™‚

@Nic01:  We’re going to Hermitage Bay at Antigua πŸ™‚ very exciting! I bet your cruise will be wonderful! Do you stop off at any of the islands?

@mcgoo: The venue doesn’t happen to be in Townsville does it?

Any fellow Aussies planning their wedding interstate?

We’re thinking of Haiwaii for our honeymoon. It’s only 9-10 hours direct flight so we could spend all our times relaxing, shopping, eatting and not getting jetlagged. πŸ™‚

If it’s an Aussie destination, Hamilton island would be beautiful or anywhere near the beach, sunshine and water activities!

@mcgoo:  I’m currently residing in Townsville, planning our wedding interstate πŸ™‚ we had our christmas work function at the Banquet Centre (assuming this is your venue?) it’s so beautiful! I think you’ll be able to transform the room.

Hunter or Barossa Valley will be a bit cooler than up here πŸ˜› not that that’s a bad thing, it’s so hot up here at the moment!

@xoxoapril:  Yep the bar side of the Banquet centre is where we’re doing the ceremony. It’s such a foxy looking building, I feel so lucky that they are letting us have it there.

And yeah, I think the Hunter or Barossa would be a nice departure from climate up here

Yay Aussies Unite! haha.

We are getting married on the Sunshine Coast in QLD on October 5th, we just booked our venue lasty weekend at Harrys restuarant on Buderim – SO excited it’s actually starting to feel real now!

No t really sure for honeymoon yet we were thinking of Port Douglas or Whitsundays or something like that, but the idea of Barossa sounds devine!

@Missy_Star:  Port Douglas is one of my favourite places! If you do decide to look at going there, if you’re looking for a resort-style place Sea Temple is amazing there. Also their spa is amazing!
