@choolove: I got them off Ebay for $4.50 each – they were advertised for $4.95  or make her an offer, I needed 60. I have only found them in a shop and on the Knot website for between 6.95 and 8.25 so it was a bargain.

@ScarletBegonia: Aww, get well soon! I know a bit how you feel, I think… this bug has knocked me flat too. I have so little energy, it feels kinda silly talking about C2S! But it sounds like great fun, would love to do it again when Fiance and I are back in town. I have to agree, though, the Bridge Run is awesome – not sure which part is my favourite, the actual Bridge bit or the grand finale down to the Opera House – I was so pumped by the crowd & everything I’m surprised I didn’t face plant from running too fast!

@Sesame Snap: I officially love your birdcage bonbonieres too. In fact, I’ve loved everything you’ve posted. Hope you show us some snaps of the big day!

Speaking of ebay, has anyone had experience buying a veil from ebay? They seem very reasonably priced & would save me carrying one more squashed thing in my luggage home!

@Sesame Snap: I know, time really is flying! Yesterday was our original date that we were going to go with. I can’t believe how quickly it came! September is gong to be here in no time!

This is one of the few pictures on the website:

It doesn’t show much except for the view. It is right on the water and there is a beautiful big wharf which will be great for photos right out the front to the left.

That photo’s a bit wild but it was the only one I could find.

Still haven’t heard back from them if they can make the timing work. If I’m not working tomorrow I will drive up to the area to see if I can have a look in the room, and to scope out some ceremony locations. I really wanted the reception on grass so seeing as that probably won’t happen I want to find some grass for the ceremony.

Yes, I am completely obsessed with grass!

@ScarletBegonia: I’m so sorry you didn’t get to race. Good on you for attempting and training anyway. That’s the hardest part! There is always next time. Get well soon!

@Owlie: Thanks – and definitely will post some pics. I did buy an ivory fingertip veil from Ebay – I got it for 99c and about $7 postage I think. It’s ok, nothing fancy and not sure if I will wear it or not yet. I am thinking about getting a birdcage veil.

Let me know if you want the name of the Ebay seller for the veil – they are from America.

@choolove: Yay! Glad it fits! I am on a diet and exercise kick too! I won’t be able to try on my dress until it arrives and that will be about 3-4 weeks before the wedding! I ordered it to fit now so it will be a bonus if I lose weight but I cannot – absolutely cannot – put on any weight or it might not fit!!!!!!

@Miss Houndstooth11: I tried to Google it but it comes up with House of Wu and the page won’t load for me (I’m assuming you mean bridesmaid dresses and not the Danish band!).

Hey bees!  I’m at work today flying high on codeine!!  I think my students think i’m weird.

@choolove: amazing about the dress! congrats!

I’ve lost 6 kilos since i bought my dress and i’m worried its not going to fit in the other direction – i’d love to lose another 6 by the wedding.
