@jaguar: So evil! :p I work with adolescents, ’nuff said ๐Ÿ™‚

Actually, having said that, I do look at Master Bieber slightly differently after one of my Year 12s did an awesome job parodying “Baby”… “Beowulf, Beowulf, Beowulf oh…” (Yes, I’m an English teacher.)

So sorry you’re snowed under right now, jag! {Cyber hug} from me. Your day is going to be amazing. Hope you get the details sorted out soon.

@ScarletBegonia: Surely that qualifies as torture under any humane definition!?!

@choolove: Sorry you had to join the mini-meltdown club. Hope you’re feeling better.

Speaking of meltdowns, I might have another one if my dress still isn’t ready. I was all ready to have my first fitting on Saturday, and now it’s been postponed to Wednesday… lady, I have to leave the country in twelve days!! Argh!!!!!

@jaguar: i couldnt imagine that love hate relationship at all LOL esp when you dont have long at all.

So mini meltdown has kind of stopped, im freaking the wedding will just be a big mess. Last night i received a call from my father saying my great uncle is on his death bed… it seems that everyone on my list for the wedding is passing away or getting gravely ill.

HAPPY HUMP DAY =)

Thank God, the tailor was ready and waiting and the fitting went well! (Apart from the fact that she hadn’t sewn the cups in yet and suffice it to say, I am not “snug” in that area, haha.) Perched precariously between the bodice and me, it worked well enough, though ๐Ÿ™‚

@jaguar: Really – a love-hate relationship? I saw those pics on your blog – you totally rock that gown! Have you picked it up now?

@choolove: Aww, I’m really sorry about your great uncle. We couldn’t invite a lot of family friends either because they are either very ill or very frail. It makes me sad not to have these people who have watched me grow up, there on the big day. {Hugs for you.}

Happy FRIDAY!!! (Wait, there goes that song again… grrrr!!)

@jaguar: How exciting! Well, I’m excited for you too, anyway ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m not too far off now either, and can’t help freaking out on my own behalf… but I’m excited for you!

You live with Fiance, am I right? Otherwise… is there any temptation to whip out the dress and try it on? I’m wondering if I need to practise walking in mine before the day… at least around the house!

Yay other Aussies! Some of your weddings are so close now! HOW EXCITING!!!!

I’ve been engaged for close to 3 years now so I’m majorly spun out that we’re so close to the 3 month countdown til our wedding! FH and I live together so my dress is at my parents place, which sure has helped to supress the urges to try it on! I sneak a peek at it every couple of months though! (I’ve had it since September 2010! Still love it!)

What are you all doing now? I’ve got the main things under control. I’m madly trying to get invitations made and sent out at the moment! It’s a lot later than I wanted to have them out by, but I’m extremely happy with them!

What are your colours? My dress is champagne, BMs are peacock (blue teal), flowers will be peach and ivory.

@SpringBird85: Hey, welcome! Nice to have you here. My dress is ivory and our main colour is plum. Our flowers will all be orchids, just for simplicity – and to symbolise Thailand, where Fiance and I met (from opposite ends of the world!).

All the best for your invites! You sound pretty on top of things to me ๐Ÿ™‚

@jaguar: I know!! It’s really down to the wire… we had our staff party today (FI and I teach at the same school) and this whole surreal thing really started to feel real…

Also, re our “Friday” chat – Fiance watched the clip for the first time the other day. I loved watching the puzzled look on his face gradually grow up to the point when I explained to him – “It’s not a spoof, dear” (!).
