@jaguar: ohhhhhh very nice, we have been looking into that resort or another one for our mini honeymoon. and btw your both gorgeous in that photo and im in love with with your bolero *drools*

well today started off just as good as yesterday…. spoke to our caterer to book in a tasting sess only to be told that the chef may be on holidays grrr i said well your husband told me to call at any time to book in and it shouldnt be a problem. We discussed my availablity while down in melbourne for only 4 days and i told her i can only do thur/fri after 6pm or sunday at lunch time.

Got into work today to find that the women booked in for a 1pm thursday tasting!!! do they not listen??? (ok sound like bridezilla but im the client) spoke to my wonderful dad who calmed me down and said he’ll take the day off instead and that i should deal with the owner (husband) instead of her.

Arggggggg feels so good to vent

it HAS been super quiet around these parts lately, i think we are all wishing we were over in Vanautu too πŸ™‚

i’m looking forward to the end of school holidays (sorry teacher bees!) since we are off to Bali for two weeks then! YAY! getting the bridesmaids dresses made over there and the boyses suits so heaps to get done in the two week trip. Also celebrating my bday over there, along with three other people in the group travelling (one of whom is 18!)

went for my first dress shop Saturday just gone at Gown Gallery in Midland – the ladies were very nice and i think i have narrowed it down a little. Mum says we have to check out Donnabella in Rockingham first though, before i think about ordering… Though, do you like? i wouldnt have even looked at it from the website pic, but its so pretty on! trying to work out if i want a full veil or birdcage with it… any ideas?

keep up the chatting ladies, i have noone else to talk to!

@nephthysa: I think birdcage would look SUPER cute with that!! Totally adorable. Is that the dress you want? It’s gorgeous!! Also, Donnabella is where I got my dress from!! They’re super friendly there. The owner and ladies there are friends of friends of friends. πŸ™‚

@nephthysa: donnabella’s is seriously awseome. I have been there when a friend was choosing out her dress. Reasonablly priced and a good range! Birdcage veil would look good!

sorry for the late reply – cant post from the iPad effectively at home so have to wait for the computer at work πŸ˜€

Yeah Donnabellas has strawberrys chocolates and champagne every saturday so we have an appointmet this weekend

I did go in to see this dress at Gown Gallery:

and tried it on, but something wasnt right. The ladies suggested the aforementioned style – and the sample fit perfectly! Got a really good idea of how it fits and how it looks, hopefully wouldnt need ANY alterations if i order in that size… Sucks about no pics though πŸ™ Oh well, will make a decision about dresses this weekend i hope, thats my July mission…

I am thinking about making a birdcage, then at least if i decide i don’t like it, i can buy the store veil ($120 ouch!) and not be too out of pocket – materials should come to under $10…

Everyone enjoy your holidays – the countdown has definately begun!

I don’t know if you guys’ll remember but when I moved over to lovely freezing cold NSW I told you all that one of our boxes went missing? Well we got a phonecall the other day from a woman in Newcastle. Apparently they delivered the box to her! Fiance had written his name and number on it so she called. The delivery company called us just before and said they’ll drop it here tomorrow!! YAY!! I’m so happy!! I don’t even remember what was IN that box! πŸ˜€

Just wanted to squee to someone. Hope you’re all having a fabulous and gorgeous day!!
