For Florist have you checked out Bouquets of Austin? They did all my bouquets and I loved them!

giggs5019:  I just moved to Austin in March, but we’d already planned the wedding in Dallas/Plano. I love our venue and vendors, but part of me wishes we had planned everything here or in the hill country.

We are getting married in October at Kindred Oaks in Georgetown (ceremony and reception will both be held there).

Food- Louie Mueller BBQ
DJ – Hill Country DJ
Florist – ZuZu’s Petals
Photography – Bella Reese Photography
Hair & Makeup – I’m also using LoLa Beauty!

Our day of coordinator is through our venue, and I still haven’t nailed our desserts down. We do want our cake from Sugar Mama’s (I worked there when I first moved to Austin, and love them).

giggs5019:  I agree with PinkDaisy! Bouquets of Austin are amazing; they were too expensive and out of budget for me, but they do amazing work. I had a couple of consultations with them and they’re great!

My videographer is So1media from Dallas, photographer was Toan Nguyen Photography, DJ was ATX DJ (Sean Alan), rented Chiavari chairs from Marquee Event Rentals (THEY ARE HAVING 50% CHIAVARI CHAIRS SALE IN JULY!!!), hair and makeup was from LucieMarie.

For my previous wedding, I used the Nichols photographers and they were awesome.

We came so close to using Vintage Villas as well, but ended up at Nature’s Point instead.

We are using Kayla Knight Cakes, though! 🙂

giggs5019:  My florist’s name is Nhan Pham. She does not have her own company/florist shop or anything. She basically does it all for weddings in Austin but doesn’t advertise herself because she works from referrals and recommendations. Aw I’m glad you thought my wedding was pretty, she literally did everything. From my ceremony draping, to all of my flowers and centerpieces, and my draping at the reception and my cake, she charged me $3500. I’m telling you, if you use her, there might be a language barrier but I promise she will work out a deal for you!!! When I went to other florists in town, they all quoted me $5k and up for the flowers I wanted. Nhan only quoted me about $2000 for all the flowers I dreamed of (peonies, rancanulus, etc). Sorry so long, don’t know if you wanted to know all of that but if you’re looking for a hole in the wall, awesome do it all person, she’s it.

giggs5019:  Her prices are so affordable, and she was willing to do our 4 tier design with pillars for such a great price!! Fiance loved her Banana Foster cake. Just thinking about cake makes me want some dessert right now.. haha

I haven’t started planning yet cause we might elope but if we don’t, I would like to get married at Casa Blanca but the only thing is its on Hairy Man Road and who wants that address on their invitations? Lol! Then again it could be pretty funny to look back at!
