I unfortunately don’t know that much, I know my cousin got married there two? years ago and it was a pretty quick ceremony.
I would call or email the registrar or similar (who ever handles marriage licenses and whatnot) and see if they can direct you in the right direction.

Oy.  I’m trying to plan something similar… small ceremony, 40 person reception.  I spoke with a JoP who advertises himself for weddings, and he advised strongly against a courthouse wedding.

I told him I didn’t really want a wedding-y wedding, and I thought that the courthouse was a cute idea, but he insisted that the Capitol grounds, or even the rotunda (I can give you details if you want), were better places to do it.

Honestly, there’s not a lot of info out there.  I know if you contact a JoP directly, they’ll make an appointment with you… some even on nights and weekends.  That’s probably your safest bet- that way you could be sure of what time you’ll start and end the ceremony portion.

On another note- I could *totally* use a local wedding planning buddy, pm me if you’re interested. 😉

Hey ladies, if your interested in a great venue (seriously can not beat the price on this one! It’s free!) google Wizard Acadamy! It’s in the driftwood area.
