Oohhh!!! Pick me! Pick me!

Here’s my engagement ring, .30ct in 18k white gold, been rocking this baby for almost 7 years!

And here’s my bridal set that I get in 10 days time (holy shit!):

I’m BOTH a Kiwi & Aussie bride! πŸ™‚ Born/bred in Auckland,  now living in Melbourne, marrying a Kiwi-born guy who  moved here when he was 3. Since it’s now our home, after a lot of soul searching, we decided to get married over here.

Our rings are from Michael Hill. we didn’t deliberately set out to get them from there, it was more a fluke (well, they had a sale & an interest free deal and we were desperate to get engaged & didn’t have much of a budget – yes, I was involved in the shopping!), but I love that they are from a company founded by a Kiwi.

@FemShepN7:  NZ girl hrre! Rings were purchased in NZ from Michael Hill . They’re not a set but I like how they are slightly mismatched:

@FemShepN7:  thanks! Yes, it came with a matching wedding ring. It sits in FH’s drawer and taunts me! one day… I couldn’t take it any more πŸ˜‰

And I love yours too! I think if we’d had a larger budget or not been in such a hurry I would have got a halo. I was just too smitten and couldn’t wait to be proposed to πŸ˜‰ mwahahaha

I like to mix and match depending on my mood and what i’m doing that day. DH likes to buy me jewellery, and i’ve also been lucky enough to receive lots of different pieces from my aunts. None of my aunts have children, and i’m their only niece.

@FemShepN7:   I still wear it the most, as it’s the ring he proposed with.

New Zealander living in Australia here!

This is my engagement ring (which I ‘do not have’ yet), however it may not be as we are discussing changing the style of this one or getting a different ring.

It’s from a small, local jeweller in Queensland.
