This may be for more than what you’re looking to do, but I loooove this idea  (the photo that’s of the aisle way tinted blue) tweaked a little for your event.  I would use plain brown branches and tie with an orange ribbon

Depending on how much light is in the church I personally would not do the pew bows black nor orange. Yet what I would do is match the ribbon color to your gown whether it be white or ivory and then accent the bows with orange and black

I love the look of little galvonized buckets with flower in them hung over the pews.  You could do orange flowers with brown ribbon.  You can even buy buckets that have been treated to look "rustic" which would fit in lovely with a fall theme.

What about  tissue pomanders in your colors?  Or orange pomanders with brown ribbon?

I DIYed my super simple pre bows.  I basically made a HUGE breast cancer/AIDS ribbon and to hold it together I used a large safety pin to attach a candle ring.  In some pictures below you can see the bows hanging on the pew.  In the other, you can see how we re-tasked them for reception decor.

You could easily use a different colored ribbon, and a candle ring that incorporated your colors.

It was really easy because you can just hang the bow over the pew using the loop at the top of the ribbon (and you can make the loop bigger or smaller depending on what you need).

Erin- if you’re interested, PM me and I’d be happy to give you more detailed instructions.

Check out floral design web sites… with a fall theme, you’ll have so many wonderful natural elements to work with, whether you want golds, orange, reds, browns…. acorns, twigs, corn stalks, pumpkins, gourds, pine cones and of course leaves!
