This is my first post!
I got engaged last December 2011 and is about to get married on October 2012.
We are now in the process of putting things together for our wedding but I have one big problem.. my wedding colors!
Hubby to-be and I wanted to have an autumn wedding. Our original colors were red, burnt orange and brown. We were okay with it and even planned the decorations with our hired wedding ccordinator. However, I had a change of heart coz I really wanted to incorporate the color PINK (which is my fave color).
Now I’ve settled for a new set of colors. that will be coral orange, fuschia pink and red. I personally think that it’s a perfect “festive” combination but I still want to achieve the AUTUMN feel that we originally planned. How will I do that with the new color palette that I chose?
Thanks in advance!

I think you can probably get the ‘autum feel’ by just toning down the colours a bit and using pink as an accent instead of a primary.
If your primary colours are Coral and a darker red (Think currant instead of fire truck) and you still use either a dark kacki or a brown and then have pink for little pops of colour here and there I think it would look lovely. Let me know if that didn’t make sence. It wouldn’t be hard to find leaves and gourds and things that are traditionally ‘autumn’ to fit in to coral and dark red.

This is basically my color pallette (substitute yellow for red) and our wedding is in Sept. If you wanted it to see more fall like you could ake your main color the coral or red, which seem more like fall colors to me, and just use the pink as an accent color. Good Luck!

Those colors go really well, I never thought about adding the red with the other 2. Would love to see pics after the wedding.

Hi there…I too am doing the autumn theme…
I am using Red and Orange but since it is awesome I am using the richer colors as opposed to the bright summer colors. If you go to Davidsbridal.com and check out the colors Apple and Prisimon you will see the color combo and richness of it more fall then spring…I hope that helps.
these are the dresses I am using and the colors when all the girls were put together they looked fabulous…wish you well and cograts…
