Hey Bees! Eventhough I am swamped with bridal shower preps for my BFF the bachelorette is looming over my head and I need some opinions. What I have planned so far is a party at our amenity room, party bus to a location about an hour away to see a male revue show and than back to the city to hit a lounge or two. I am planning on asking the girls to wear a little black dress and we will buy some neon bob wigs for all to wear. The bride has also hinted at wanting/needing some lingerie.
First questions, does the evening seem like too much? I am planning on some games on the bus to pass the time but would you commit to such a long evening? We would literally need to start the evening at 4pm in order to get to the show in time.
Second question, does asking each girl to pay $65 seem excessive($25 for the bus, $20-30 for the show tickets and let’s be honest we want to be in front so probably $30, the wig cost $10)? I’ve paid for $50 just to take a limo to the club in the past but really need some help on this one!

@baletrina: $65 sounds great to me. The ones I have been to have cost much more! However, I think that your best answer for this question comes from those who will be attending and not us on here who will all have different opinions.

@baletrina: $65 is fair to ask everyone to contribute. The only thing I may have a problem with is the hour long trip to see guys shake their junk. Lol. but then again it’s a party bus so drinking would be involved, in that case maybe it would be fun.

$65 sounds very fair!
However, a 2 hour round trip to see the male show sounds a little too long to me. Is that a must-do? Although the party bus may be a good time…

$65 is a great price for a bachelorette!

i dont think thats too much at all. We just had mine on Sat. My girls spent either $55 or $70 ror their show ticket (the $70 ticket included 2 drinks) and $25 for the limo ride. The show was a dinner/show so we got a full 4 course meal aswell. They all said it was money well spent and we had a blast. The boys joined us at the end of the night for the country bar, stoneys. I had a blast and am still recovering from the night lol.

@baletrina: you definitely have to consider your audience. Think about a) if $65 would be a lot for them (if they are students it probably is), and b) how much they normally spend on a night out. If this is a crowd that usually goes out to dinner and cocktails and spends $40-$50 no problem than $65 sounds right, but if this is a crowd to only go out for a few beers ($10) this might be pricey.

@gelaine22: @Birdi: @hollyberry4: @BeachBride2014: Thanks for they reply ladies! I did ask my sisters and the BMs their opinions and everyone said they expect to pay around $100 for a bachelorette party. They thought it was a great deal especially considering the show is Thunder from Down Under and not some amateur show. As for the bus I am planning some cheesy games, a “shot” song(something cheesy like a mariachi band) that plays for less than a minute every couple songs on the playlist where I’ll pour shots in people’s mouths haha, and a photo slide show. Hopefully that will be entertaining enough.
@mjwyatt84: Thanks for the input. Sounds like your party was a blast!
@ivoryowl: The bride is 30 so we are definitely all pretty established. It should be ok!
