We’re in the midwest and I think our coordinator is $1200 which is actually on the higher end of pricing for our area considering we’re border-line boondocks.

My DOC is $1800 (upstate NY), which I thought was a lot, although she is supposed to be excellent.  Another option would have been less (closer to $1000) but she had a poor reputation and I’m glad we’re not using her.

Most I checked with were 1500-3000 (yes, just for day of services).

Wine country/bay area is expensive. Tell her to prepare herself for plenty of sticker shock. It’s amazing how tossing the word “wedding” in front of something is an invitation to rip people off.

Our DOC in Sonoma is $1900. I was quoted anywhere from $1500 to $4000 for day of! Honestly, the area is expensive and that’s the cost of things here. Pretty much all the vendors are pricey but you are paying for the area.

But I LOVE our coordinator. She has been super helpful and made lots of suggestions. We have met with her a few times and we have emailed quite a bit (weekly basis probably since June but at least monthly since December). I am very glad we went with her and I ended up thinking the money is well spent because I trust her and value her opinions.

If your friend needs any recommendations I seriously love our florist and photographer as well!
