ashleymarie843 :  It varies depending on where you go, what levels of rooms you stay in, etc. We never do all inclusives so I’m not much help there but 4300 doesn’t sound unreasable for a week at an AI including your flights.

I don’t think there is a meaningful average — people go to and from different parts of the world, fly versus drive, etc. the only thing that matters is that it’s an amount you feel comfortable spending. I’m not a fan of all inclusive resorts but that seems like a reasonable price for all of your costs for a week whatever you are doing.

ashleymarie843 :  We did two weeks in France and it was around $12,000 CAD but we did stay at some Chateau&Relais hotels which were like $400 a night. Worth every penny, best trip of my life.

ashleymarie843 :  We arent doing a big honeymoon, we cant afford it at the moment becuase we are paying for the whole wedding ourselves. I think, with it all said and done, we are just under $1000 for a 1 week trip to a local fishing resort, with a private cabin and guided fishing all week.

ashleymarie843 :  Ours will be 7 day 7 night in St Lucia and it will be $5,500. We will probably spend a little closer to $6,000 because there are 2 or 3 excursions we want to do that aren’t part of the all inclusive.

Our package includes flights, resort, food, drinks, tips, and some excursions (paddleboarding, snorkeling, SCUBA, sunset cataraman cruise, water trikes, sail boats, windsurfing, etc)

We are spending probably 3.5-4k on a trip to Banff, Canada. Staying at nice hotels/lodges, and doing some expensive excursions (like a $200 pp dog sledding trip). We will be there a week.

ashleymarie843 :  We $8,000.00 but we went to three different countries (Europe) and nothing was all inclusive out there 😛 It was soooo worth the money, we could’ve done it for cheaper but we didn’t want to skimp on hotel/food/excursions on a honeymoon.

ashleymarie843 :  We’re going in the first part of May – so hopefully their rainy season doesn’t start early next year!

One of my friends went in July this year, and said even when it rains every day there – it only rains for like 30 min to an hour and is sunny immediately after.

we did 2 weeks in Greece and the Greek Islands and spent around $12,000 after all was said and done. So that included all the money we spent on food and drinks as well as excursions. We used a Greek travel agent and she put us in some of the best hotels Greece has to offer so we spent a lot on that, but it was well worth it! Once in a lifetime trip! We also used credit card points for our flights and ended up only paying about $200 each for our flights.

Our honeymoon was 10 days at St John for about $2500.  But we’ve done trips as much as 12k (1 month in Austrailia/New Zealand)… if we add up all the trips we’ve taken since we met 8 years ago, it comes out to over 50k, but trips are worth every penny!

I haven’t been on my honeymoon yet but we are spending a week in London. We’ve booked our flights and accomadations already – those were about $2,000 (we got a killer deal on flights). I am guessing total we will spend around $5,000-$6,000 but it will be worth every single penny!
