Even with a cash bar, ours was about $120 per person (including gratuity).  YIKESSS!!!  BUTTTTT that being said….it was a package plan that including everything (cake, DJ, flowers, photographer).  We had a 120 person minimum (and had 120 people exactly).  If we had reached 150 people, the price per person would have gone down slightly.

Ours will be just under $30 pp for a buffet style dinner. That’s before factoring in any alcohol.

Mine comes out to be about 80 pp and that is for the wedding and reception, dinner, and open bar.

It looks like we are going with a venue that is catering at $27.50 a person and if we go with the premium open bar, that will be an additional $18.50 per person. So $46.00 a person total (eek!!!) scary number. Good thing is, that we get the room for free with all the catering. They are also including all the tableware, glassware, linens, and some decorations (we can personalize it any way we want). We were originally going to go with a different venue that we would have to provide our own caterer and all decorations and linens and and table settings. When we started number crunching, it was actually more cost effective, not to mention a lot less aggravation, to go with the venue that offered it all. Now we are just waiting for our tax returns to lay down the deposit.

$80-something per person. We haven’t finalized the number yet. This is for ~200 guests. You do the math, hahahaha. *cries*

Includes ceremony and all set up/breakdown that goes along with it, 5.5 hour reception, full sit down dinner, open bar, centerpieces, lighting, and linens.

For food, about $20 a person.  For the whole event, about $100 per person.

Ours will probably average about $100 pp after all’s said and done (total budget). I think our venue for 75 people is about $70-$75 pp, which includes pretty much everything (ceremony + reception, full bar, food, linens, tableware, centerpieces, cake cutting, set up/clean up, taxes/gratuity, etc.). The only thing we have to get on our own is cake and flowers. If we had 100 people or more, it would be cheaper pp, but unless we start inviting people we don’t really want there, that won’t happen. 😉 I actually think $100 pp is pretty standard if the venue has a lot of includes.

Everywhere I’ve looked is about $130 – $180 per person 🙁  I’m in Northern NJ or NYC, though, so I know that matters.

For all of the fabulous bees that posted that don’t have their state near their name, would you mind letting us know where you’re from?  I swear, I’m going to have a destination wedding in Ill or something!

Ours is in the vicinity of $70 p/p. This includes our ceremony space and chairs, cocktail hour (few passed, few stationary apps), limited open bar for 5 hours (beer, wine, soda, champagne toast, sig. drink) and plated dinner (includes salad and choice of NY strip steak or chicken cordon bleu). Our cake is not provided by the venue but we are paying $7 per slice for it so technically we’re paying $77 p/p.

ETA: We’re getting married in Upstate, NY.

ETA (again): This price also includes all taxes and gratuities.
