My Allure dress was $950. My stepsister also got an Allure dress and it was $1400. Hers was lace like these, so I think that contributed to the higher cost. My dress is satin and simple so it was less expensive. I’m pretty sure Allure gowns run from about $800-2,000

Lace dresses really drive up the cost. If you want high quality beautiful dresses at an affordable price I would look at Marisa Bridal. They cut costs big time by not advertising and pass the savings on to the customer. My dress (pictured below) was $2200 and it is gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. I looked at other comparable lace dresses and they were starting at $5000 for non-tacky looking lace.

@Jacqui90:  My allure was around $1495? I remember paying half and it was over $700, and then paying the balance, which was over $700. Most of the Allure dresses that I looked at, as well as the ones my two engaged friends have all looked at, have been under $2,000.

I tried on a few Allure dresses! They were $700-$1500, but I was also trying them on in Vermont, where things tend to be cheaper.

They were ballgowns, if that helps!

@Jacqui90:  My Allure was marked for 1300, but I got a discount cause I bought it on my first appt which lowered it to 1100. its the allure 9052. Some places will give you some sort of discount if you buy it that day

The dress prices in Australia are a lot different to the ones in the US. We generally pay a lot more for dresses here because we don’t have as big a market for that sort of thing as the US does. I think Allure prices in Australia start from around $2000.

@Jacqui90:  i think your budget is very doable… at least with Allure… going in, i had a $1,500.00-$2,000.00 dress budget and ended up buy my allure 8955 for $1,100.00 (10% off trunk show discount)… i was very happy about that; however, my alterations ended up costing much more than i expected $475.00 (i’m a short girl and materials of my dress and heming was very diffiult for my dress) Still i managed to be at around my budget. Good luck, but i think you’ll find your perfect dress at the right price.
