Hello fellow bees,
In working out our budget, my HTB and I allocated 1,000 for wedding rings. Is that reasonable/do-able (keeping in mind I’m in California)
For my wedding ring, I want diamonds only half way around the band. HTB is undecided on what he wants his ring to look like.
Thanks for the input!

We looked at bands when we went to order my engagement ring, and they are right in that budget. The jeweler we went to had a band for me, 14k white gold with 8 diamonds in the band [0.25 tcwt] for about $650. Fiance doesn’t want a gold ring because he works at a metal shop, and it would get torn up really quickly. We’re opting for a matte finish palladium band that runs about $350. That being said, I’m sure you could find something with a smaller tcwt for your ring or a titanium band for him and stay within budget. Good luck!

Im in California, the range is soooo wide when it comes to rings. You can totally make that budget work just depends on what you want. My husbands kobalt ring was around 350, my ring was 18 karat gold with diamonds half way around for 1200, but they had similar ones for around 400-500 but I wanted the matching one to my e-ring which is why mine was more.

We were very lucky to get mind on sale ($1000 down to $400) and my partners will be $450 so were around the $1000 mark 🙂

we allocated for 1000 budget as well since the band that matches my Ering is that price..however I did not want that ring, and we kept looking
I hit jackpot when i found him a tungsten ring for under $100 online ( hes a chef and cant wear golds as that are mallable)
He then hit the jackpot double when he found me a awesome band from a liquidation sale that retails for 1799 & appraises at 1950 for……. $599!!!!!
I think your 1k budget is reasonable, but i would def look around before you committ

I am with shalynnmarie: 1000 is totally reasonable, even in Cali. My Darling Husband and I went ring shopping in SanDeigo before we purchased anything just to see what quality and price range we were going for. Darling Husband ended up wanting a tungsten one from Jareds that was 450 and I found it online (identical, but they paid engraving also) for 180, and mine was part of the set with my engagement ring but it came to about 650, it does not have diamonds but it has sapphires in it. I think you can find what you are looking for, but don’t be afraid to go online, shop around and do your homework

Like PPs said there is a wide range in prices for wedding rings. I’m in CA also and you can definitely find rings in that range. You should check out overstock.com though. They have amazing prices and my friends’ got their bands there and they look great!
