Just wanted to put out a warning to all of you brides out there looking for stationary. I paid this woman on etsy a lot of money to do my invites and paper products and she claimed to have sent the invites but the delivery confirmation number is not real and they never came. She has stopped responding, closed her shop and opened a new one. She’s also on facebook under Exposures Photography. [content moderated for privacy purposes]
She was on etsy as ExposuresPD and is now under a new shop name EXPandD.
Be careful using Etsy. We’ve clearly gotten ripped off.

Contact [email protected] and let them know and contact Paypal within 45 days of purchase so you can get your $$ back. I’m so sorry this happened to you. I hope you can leave her a negative review somewhere to warn other brides.
(As a side note: One should always be careful when shopping online, but there are a lot of wonderful sellers on Etsy, and each one is separate from the others, so lumping all Etsy sellers into one category doesn’t really work, because it’s not one big store. Just like in everything, there are a lot of good people, and some rotten ones that unfortunately give a bad name to the good ones.)

@eryepye: Thanks for the advice. I have purchased many other things on etsy with great success, so of course I’m not saying not to use etsy. But I wanted to get this particular girl’s name and shop name out there so that other brides might find this and be forewarned.

I wish I had seen this stream of posts before being scammed by Nicole. I’ve learned my lesson. I bought my wedding invites, envelopes and RSVP post cards from her. She sent me the proofs for the invite and I had some minor changes, such as the start time of the wedding. I told her this in an email and asked her to add my return address on the RSVP cards so we wouldn’t have to write them all out ourselves (for an extra fee, of course). She spelled the grooms name wrong. I told her the problem with the RSVP card in the email, and told her other then that it looked fine. She acknowledged my email and sent me the final 100 invites, RSVP cards and envelopes in the mail. I received them with the grooms name mispelled on the RSVP card (funny, she had it correct in the invitation!), and the wedding time wrong. I contacted her about the error, and she said she would only fix the mistake if we paid her to do so! You’ve got to be kidding. Luckily we prevailed in our paypal dispute. I would never recommend her nor use her again. Absolutely horrible business ethics.

I am currently being scammed by Nicole. I’m going to push thru the next couple weeks, enjoy my wedding and my honeymoon, and then I’m going to start the legal process against her. I’m asking that all of you, please please contact me so that I can continue gathering evidence against her. I have spoken with the police department and the Arkansas attorney general. I plan to take action in small claims court first, then proceed with my lawyer. She has scammed 100’s of people. We need to stop her before she is able to scam other brides like you and I. If you have any information, or if you would like to join me in my lawsuit, please email me at:
