Moissanite Co is a weird business for sure. When I was looking through eternity bands, it feel like the customer service rep I was talking to was actively trying to *not* sell me anything. I eventually bought something because I still feel lost as to what I really want and our wedding soon, but my ring turned out absolutely gorgeous. Each stone was put in nicely, they look great next to my diamonds, and I had it cleaned and checked over by my jeweler, who said that it was pretty sound. At the same time, however, I really don’t doubt that their products can be less consistent in quality and that their customer service can be miserable.

I’ve read about their issues about stones falling out and whatnot, but I’ve heard that is very common with rings that have side stones. Luckily I wanted a plain 3 stone especially after hearing so many horror stories. Most of my friends with rings that have halos or a lot of side stones have lost a stone or two over the last few years. 

I really hope they get your issue resolved quickly!

It does seem very inconsistent. It’s funny, before I was trying to decide where to buy my ring, I didn’t hear anything bad. But NOW that I have my ring and the stone is crappy, now I see all the mixed reviews. Just my damn luck.

My experience with them was satisfactory overall. Got my ring in 2015 (bezel set solitaire, sized up). The shank had slight clamp marks on it and the stone was set a bit crooked. I mailed pics of the problems and spoke with Chris. He said send it on back we’ll correct.

Problem was my finger was larger than the standard available and I’m guessing it was cut and spread then gold added, during which the stone moved and the shank bore marks of whatever held it. They were very slight but I had that sucker under a microscope cause I’m OCD that way.

Chris’ solution was to make a setting in my size from scratch and offered to send me close up pics of the finished work to approve before he shipped it back. He answered my questions promptly, was professional (I was not at first but he was patient), and the ring with the new setting was perfect. The original stone was gorgeous, no problem with that whatsoever and I’m very happy with it to this day.

I can only speak for myself but I had a problem, we communicated, they offered to correct and did so admirably. Even with the original problem – which shouldn’t have happened but I can see how it did, stuff happens – I’d buy from them again.
