So I’ve been posting whenever I noticed that this girl changed her etsy shop name and she has a new one. She was ExposuresPD, then EXPandD, then MyPaperWedding and now she is theweddingpaper. She’s on facebook under Exposures Photography and she’s scammed people out of invitations, not sending the invitations or programs as promised, giving fake delivery confirmations, etc. I’m sure there are lots of great designers on etsy, just avoid using this one.
I would suggest only using a designer whose shop has been open for enough time to generate feedback. After my experience with getting ripped off by her I’m only using shops that are well established and have a decent amount of feedback. It sucks that someone has ruined my faith in new etsy sellers but I’d rather be safe. Anyway, just wanted to warn any future brides not to use this seller.

Thanks for the warning. It is unfortunate people like her ruin people’s trust in other etsy sellers.

wow..thanks for the heads up. This is sad that ppl like her are trying to scam folks out of their money.

Most etsy sellers are great 🙁
It’s hard sometimes to get feedback because people just don’t bother to leave it. I’ve been open for a year and only have 3 feedbacks.

We too have fallen victim to this “person” going by the alias [moderated for privacy] with numerous websites. She will only do business by mail (always from her iPhone) and will not talk in person to you.
Reading from the experiences of others, there are always excuses. She took our money, then we had to wait two months to get a proof. In the meantime, she claimed an illness at the sametime her Facebook page said she was in the Caribbean.
Here are some links to some good reads….

I agree that most Etsy seller ARE great, or the ones who aren’t end up closing shop pretty quickly. OP, thanks for the heads up.

Avoid this seller, not etsy. She scammed me too.
I too wish I had seen this stream of posts before being scammed by [moderated for privacy]. I’ve learned my lesson. I bought my wedding invites, envelopes and RSVP post cards from her. She sent me the proofs for the invite and I had some minor changes, such as the start time of the wedding. I told her this in an email and asked her to add my return address on the RSVP cards so we wouldn’t have to write them all out ourselves (for an extra fee, of course). She spelled the grooms name wrong. I told her the problem with the RSVP card in the email, and told her other then that it looked fine. She acknowledged my email and sent me the final 100 invites, RSVP cards and envelopes in the mail. I received them with the grooms name mispelled on the RSVP card (funny, she had it correct in the invitation!), and the wedding time wrong. I contacted her about the error, and she said she would only fix the mistake if we paid her to do so! You’ve got to be kidding. Luckily we prevailed in our paypal dispute. I would never recommend her nor use her again. Absolutely horrible business ethics.

I am currently being scammed by [moderated for privacy]. I’m going to push thru the next couple weeks, enjoy my wedding and my honeymoon, and then I’m going to start the legal process against her. I’m asking that all of you, please please contact me so that I can continue gathering evidence against her. I have spoken with the police department and the Arkansas attorney general. I plan to take action in small claims court first, then proceed with my lawyer. She has scammed 100’s of people. We need to stop her before she is able to scam other brides like you and I. If you have any information, or if you would like to join me in my lawsuit, please email me at:
