I’m right there with you…it’s like I want to  keep hope alive.

I’m 11DPO, and I want to wait till 15 or 16 DPO so that I’m sure either way.

It’s definitely probable though that you’d get a positive on the day of AF..especially with the first response tests.

Anticipating possible dissapointment is hard!

@cbco:  oh my goodness! congratulations!!

i was going to comment and say that i’m in the same boat– used internet cheapies (BFNs) the past couple of days (currently 12 DPO) and I don’t want to take a FRER for fear that it’ll come up negative!

my plan is to just keep testing using the internet cheapies until AF shows, or i get a faint positive– at which time i’ll spring for a more expensive test!

Awesome to see your update! I was coming on to tell you that I did the same thing this month at 13DPO and was dreading testing so much that I almost didn’t. I got a BFP too.

Congrats!!

@cbco:  Call the doctor to let them know you’re pregnant and they will schedule you for your 1st U/S. Some offices may be really busy, so you want to get in their books ASAP.

Congrats again! 🙂

@cbco:  Yep! I just called mine, told them I got a positive pregnancy test that morning, and they were super sweet. Scheduled me in for 8 weeks, and asked me to stop by to pick up some prenatal samples. They invited me to call back with any questions.
